"Ma'am the plane is landing." I nodded and unplugged my headphones. As soon as the plane landed everyone filed off. I mixed into the mess and made it off into the crowded airport.

I turn off airplane mode to see Ethan and everyone at the office but Mark texted me. I read through the messages. He said he was off work today so he'd be home all day to talk. I guess that was good for me.

I scroll back in our messages and find the time he told me his address. I call an uber and tell the driver the address. "I should have you there by nine tonight." I nod and relax in the back of the car.

The driver and I made nice small talk since it was a few hours drive. He was very nice. He told me how he moved here with his boyfriend from England to get a new start. They adopted a little girl who's three. He was honestly very nice to talk to and his accent was soothing.

"It sounds like you really like your boyfriend." I said. "Yeah he's great but I kind of want to be more than just his boyfriend." I smiled. "You want to marry him huh?" "Bingo." "Go for it. From what you've told me he sounds like he really likes you. I bet he would say yes in a heart beat."

"Here's the place. Nice talking to you." He said. "It was. Feel free to text me anytime Dan. Tell Phil and Amethyst I said hi." I pay Dan and exit the car. I wave goodbye as he leaves the driveway.

It starts to drizzle. It was easy to notice of the darkly colored pavement.

I look at the house. The house was mostly dark besides a room upstairs. I take a deep breathe before walking up to the front door. I raise my arm slowly and knock against the white wood door.

The rain pours harder. My hair goes flat as I hear footsteps run down stairs. "I'm coming!" Ethan's voice yells. The door opens and my gaze meets his. "Amy what are you doing here?" He said opening the door wider for me to enter.

I feel tears prick at my eyes. My emotions had been bottled up all day that it allows just released. "Mark cheated on me." I bringing my hands to my face and crying. "Oh Amy." I feel his arms wrap around me and him pull my closer to his chest.

Ethan

Those words broke my heart. She started to cry and the only logical thing I thought to do was to pull her into a hug. With one hand I use my thumb to rub circles on her back while the other just gently rest there.

We stayed in silence for a while until her crying calmed down. I didn't ask her why and when she found out. I decided to let the situation be. "So why did you fly all the way to Maine?" I ask. "I didn't know who else to talk to. I don't talk to many people." I just nodded my head.

"Well let me get you some clothes so you can shower. I don't know how long you were standing in rain but staying in wet clothes will get you sick." I said pulling apart from her. "Oh yeah. Sorry about that." She said apologizing. "It's fine. Follow me and I'll show you to the shower."

She nods and follows me upstairs. I head into my room and grab a t-shirt and a pair of pj pants for her. "They might be slightly big but it should work." She nods her head and takes the clothes.

"You can use the shower connected to my room. There is a cupboard in there with towels." I point to the light blue painted door. "Thank you." She said. "I'll be in my recording room doing a livestream." She nods and in leave her to shower.

I head into my recording room and finish setting up the little things for the stream. I sit down and start up the stream.

"Are we working?" I look in the comments to see people saying 'yes'. "Okay so I have a friend staying with me from Los Angeles so if any background noise happens it's most likely them. I look at the comments flying by. "Is it a girl? Yes it is a girl." I say with a smile.

"Okay so today I thought I would play some Outlast 2. It just came out recently so why not." And with that the livestream began.
