Chapter 1: A Glimpse

"Y/N-chan!", a familiar face comes walking to me. Uekiya Engeika, we met yesterday and she offered to walk me to school. There was no way I was going to say no, besides I don't know this town that much because I just moved here two weeks ago and I spent most of my time unpacking and stuff like that. I don't know why my parents want me to enroll at Akademi High but I heard it was because my parents met there... That's an idiotic reason right?

Anyway, I'm glad that I already made a friend and she's showing me around. It took some time to get to school but I did get to know Uekiya-senpai better. Oh, she's senior if you didn't know. I'm only in second year.

I love the sakura trees scattered at school but its only natural because its Spring but the scenery is still somewhat breathtaking. "Do you like the sakura trees? Its somehow different than normal ones." I nodded still looking up "I'll show you something. Its in the back of the school, we still have some time before the entrance ceremony starts" She took my hand and we went to the place she talked about.

I saw a lone sakura tree on top of a hill surrounded by flowers, "There's a myth that if you confess to someone underneath that tree on a Friday, they are guaranteed to accept your feelings", the scenery makes you feel like the myth is true. "Anyway, (Y/N). I think its time we go to the gym now." "Yeah, sure", we went to the gym and I can't help but smile.

When I arrived at the gym, half of the students were already there. "Do you want me to help find your class?" Uekiya-senpai asked me but I declined, "No thank you, I see my homeroom teacher there" I pointed at Rino Fuka, teacher of 2-1, my homeroom. "Okay then, if you somehow got lost, I'm just there." I looked at where she was pointing and I noticed a light red-haired boy sitting at her class' seat. He's probably one of her classmates. I quickly turned back so he wouldn't notice me staring. Maybe I should ask Uekiya-senpai who he is... no, that's basically an idiot's move. "That's nice to know, I'll see you later, Uekiya-senpai" I responded to her before going to our spot. I sat next to a girl with black hair tied into a high ponytail and waited patiently for the program to start. I notice the girl staring at a boy for quite some time already. Well, maybe she's looking at something else...
