Chapter 4: Accidents

"(Y/N)!" I heard someone call my name as I was walking to school. Uekiya-senpai was said that she was going to be late going to school. She told me to go on ahead and so I did. It spun around and saw Yan-chan running up to me. "Yan-chan, hello." "So, (Y/N)-chan. How was the club activity?" "We're going to show each other's ability later. We also have time to finish our art at morning and lunch time." She looks disinterested. Did I say something wrong? "Well, yeah but have you talked to Tsuka-senpai?" "Well, I did but I don't he talks that much..." I look down. I don't know why but I only just noticed that we're walking to school. "He's just like that, don't worry."

"Yan-chan, about Ato-san..." "Oh, you mean Suni Ato? She's Tsuka-senpai's classmate and is basically his mic. Don't worry though. She likes someone else." Hearing her say that made me a bit more confident, but... "How do you know that?" I ask her. I'm really confused. Maybe Yan-chan is just the person that knows everyone "I heard it from a friend that knows almost everything in the school. even you having a crush on the certain art boy." "What? How?" "She has her ways."

Talking with Yan-chan seems to have caused time to fly. We're already at school before we knew it.

I told Yan-chan that I had to go finish the art I was doing last afternoon. I didn't expect someone to be here already though. Tsuka-senpai was already there, but who wouldn't have guessed? He seems really passionate about art. Although, he wasn't really making art at the moment. It seems like he's looking at his art and not making changes or anything. Maybe he's done already... yeah, that's a reasonable explanation but why would he just stare at it? Well, I best just leave him be. I think he hasn't notice me yet. Erm, notice me senpai? And then he looked at me. Wow, what a coincidence...

"Hello senpai." I say as I enter. He seemed to be surprised that I was here. He immediately covered his art. I saw him do that before I changed into my painting smock. I started to do the final touches in my art. It's probably gonna be done just before the class starts... or so I thought. It was more finished than I thought. I have a lot of time before class starts. Wait, I think I came to school at 6:30 am. I should really check the time before I leave home.

I went to the vending machine on the second floor to grab some (your favorite drink). I also decided to explore the school without getting sidetracked. There's actually a ton of clubs I could join but I can only choose one and since I'm already in the art club I can't join any. I wouldn't leave the club whatsoever.

Upon reaching the 3rd floor, I notice the computer lab. Some students are already there... wait, are they playing games?! A girl with a pink fringe sees me and goes to me. "Hello. Are you interested in joining the club?" A club?... "What club?" I ask her. She was about to answer when a girl with green hair came running down the stairs and says to me, "The gaming club!" and ran up to the roof again. I think I saw her on the rooftop using her phone yesterday. "Um, so yeah. If you want to join the club, please tell the leader, Gema Taku." "Sorry, but I'm already in a club." "Oh! I should've notice your in the art club... but hey, don't be shy on visiting." "Thanks"

Upon checking how much the time past on my phone, I noticed a puddle on the floor. Well, it's not really noticeable because the liquid, supposedly juice is the same color as the floor, but people do say I have great eyesight. I guess that proved it. Well, I guess I should mp the floor before anyone slips. It's kinda big too.

I grabbed a mop and bucket then went to the puddle; I was too late, someone already slipped; the girl yesterday. I put the mop and bucket and helped her up. "T-thanks...", she says to me. She looked down and it looks like she became afraid, "Oh no, Senpai's book!". I notice the black and red book on the floor. She picked it up and I noticed that the juice ruined the whole book. "Hey are you okay? If you want, I can try to restore that book of yours...", I say to her so she could have some hope. Yes, I can restore things. I can do lots of thing. Hey face brightened up at the word "restore". "Y-you could?! Oh my god, you're like a life savior! Thank you. I haven't even introduced myself yet. I'm Osana Najimi. You can call me by my first name.", actually, this was the first time I saw her smile. From the two times I've crossed paths with her was when she was distressed. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N). You can also call me by my first name", I smiled back.

I about to take the book when I heard someone call out  Osana-chan. "Osana?! Why are you giving it to her?", turning around, it was Yamada-senpai. "Oh no...", I heard her mutter. Senpai walked closer and he noticed that the book is wet. He seems angry about this, "What happened?! You promised you'll take care of it!" "I'm sorry, it was an accident! I slipped and it went to the water...". Oh, so the book belongs to the Senpai and Osana borrowed it. I'm guessing that the book is special to Senpai. He sighs, "...I guess it's fine, I'll just tell my sister that an accident happened...". Senpai turned around to leave but Osana's words stopped him, "(Y/N) can restore it!". He turned around with a bright face, "Who?" "Her!", Osana points at me. "That was why I was giving it to her"

Senpai turns at me, "Can you really restore it?", he asks me excitedly. I only nod at him. "Then can you try to restore my book?" "I can, but it will take some time. I should get it done by Thursday, since most of the parts are just faded unlike the others which are mixed." He then looks satisfied. "Okay, I hope you succeed...", he says to me as he hands out his book. Well, now I got something to do.

The both of them left after some time later, Senpai still looks a little bit salty about the whole incident. I sat down on my desk to concentrate on the task I just accepted.

My alarm suddenly set off, shocking me. I can't believe I forgot about the alarm I put to let me know that I need to go to my classroom... I think it it activates around 8:00 am. I should probably do this later at lunch.
