"Ah that was so nice!"

I proclaim aloud to myself while stretching out my arms. I change into the guest bath house kimono and check out my reflection in the mirror.

I have no makeup on my face but it looks fresh and my skin is almost glowing from the bath.

Hmm well its not like anything will happen tonight with Sasuke kun anyways.

I frown slightly sad at the thought but quickly dismiss it and head out to meet the others.

I locate the room we'll be eating in and when I walk in I see the boys are all there in their kimonos too. Naruto and the 6th are sitting next to one another laughing their asses off, clearly they've been drinking for awhile. Sasuke is taking a sip of his sake and although he isn't laughing I notice him hiding a smile behind the cup.

I plop myself down next to him and greet everyone.

"Sakura-Chan you always take the longest at bath houses." Naruto points out loudly.

Kakashi Sensei nods in agreement.

I roll my eyes. "Hey, I deserve it after all my hard work at the hospital."

"Oi! I deserve it too! I've still been working hard on becoming the next hokage you know!"
Naruto remarks his cheeks hot from the sake.

"But I'll be the next hokage."
Sasuke states matter of factly.

This triggers more bickering that I use to my advantage by taking that time to stuff my face while they are distracted. The 6th just nods at everything Naruto and Sasuke say, clearly too drunk to care. This is how most of the evening goes until Naruto passes out. Kakashi ends up having to carry him even though he himself is a little wobbly.

"We should also head back to our room."
Sasuke suggests clearing his throat.

I avoid meeting his eyes.
"Yea lets go."

We both stand and start walking back to the room. Once inside I go sit on the edge of the bed nervous.

So weird that this bathhouse doesn't have futons, now I have to share a bed with Sasuke...

I think this as if its a problem, when it's what I've been anticipating all day.

I glance at Sasuke and notice him throwing his pillow on the floor and taking one of the blankets.

"What are you doing?"

"Sleeping on the floor."
Sasuke responds without even looking at me.

"Yes I pieced that much together, but why I mean?"

"So that we don't have to share a bed."
He says in a monotone voice while settling on the ground.

His words feel like a small blow to the gut.

I guess he really can't see me any other way besides as a friend.

Even so it still pisses me off.

"Whatever, any man would die to be in your position." I boast not truly believing the words coming out of my mouth.

Sasuke furrows his brows at me.
He rises and sits next to me on the bed and study's me for a long moment.

"You misunderstood Sakura."
He says with a rather softer tone than usual.
