Next time..

Misunderstanding

Sasuke opens his mouth to speak but is cut off by someone crashing in through our hotel room window. Scared and obviously caught off guard I let out a scream and Sasuke jumps up immediately into a protective stance.

"Kaakashi sensai! how dare yooou try to make me sleep!"

It's Naruto drunkenly shouting.

In the next second Kakashi jumped through where the window use to be.

"I'm sorry guys he had woken up and sneaked some more alcohol." Kakashi clarifies before using a little bit of his chidori to stun Naruto. He caught him of course not letting him hit the ground.

We then spent an hour or two dealing with the damages and getting new rooms. Thankfully they loved the 6th Hokage so much, that when he said he'd take care of everything it was no big deal. On the down side though, me and Sasuke's room now had separate beds. But we were both so exhausted we didn't even talk by the time we got it, we just passed out in our own beds.

The journey home was...awkward, to say the least.

It's Saturday and I finally have a day off from the hospital. The goal was to sleep in till noon but unfortunately I hear my phone go off. I groggily search for it under my pillow and squint at the screen.

It was Ino.

"Bitch we are going out tonight!" Ino practically screams in my ear, making me cringe.

I hold the phone away from me to read the time.

"Ino it's 9:00 in the morning! This is my day off, you couldn't wait to tell me this later?"

I groan, regretting not setting my phone on silent the night before.

"No because we are going to spend the day at the spa and getting ready for tonight! You've been in a slump since the bathhouse fail."

She wasn't referring to Naruto's drunkenness, she meant the almost night me and Sasuke had 2 weeks ago now. Where he rejected me. And the worst part is, since we got back, we've both been crazy busy with work. It feels like there's no good time to bring it up.

"Urgghh Ok give me an hour." I groan giving into Ino, but also because I agreed with her.

I do deserve a night out to feel good.

"Great! See you soon."

"Why are we getting there so late?" I whine at Ino sitting next to me in the back of the taxi.

"Girl don't act like we are that old yet, its only 10:00pm. In fact this is kind of early for clubbing on a Saturday night."
She explains rolling her eyes at me.

"I guess you're right, its just hard to relax I've been so busy with the hospital and stressing over you know who."

"I know, I'm so lucky to be dating Sai hes not perfect but Sasuke is so complicated."

I frowned, I wanted to come to his defense but I really couldn't argue that.

"Come on Sakura we will get you drunk, we'll dance all night and you'll be having so much fun you wont even think about him!" Ino declares enthusiastically, tugging at my arm.

Her grin is contagious.

"Ok ok, youre right! Who needs him? I'm gonna be turning so many heads tonight!"
