There once was a girl named Fänerv. She grew up in a place called Frârsoní. Hard to pronounce, right? The place is a little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It’s a very small island. But it is covered by magic, so the humans can’t find it. Have you ever heard of Atlantis? You only knew about it because we told them to use better wards. They wouldn’t listen to us and look where they ended up! On the bottom of the ocean, lost to both humans and Frerös, forever to be called “The Lost City”. Now they can’t enjoy the surface like they used to. And it’s all their fault. Ever heard of Marrock? Exactly. They did listen to us.
So you see, this girl, Fänerv, is a legend among us Frerös. The girl has powers beyond belief! We Frerös have the ability to use magic. Hard to believe you can’t. That’s one -just one- of the disadvantages you humans have. We are better, more superior than you. So you see, Frerös are natives to Frârsoní. We never reveal ourselves to the humans though, we look a lot like them. We look a lot like you. Hard to tell the difference really. Only if you look carefully will you notice the changes. You have round ears and we have them semi pointed. And our eyes are slanted. We never envy the other’s eye color for, we choose the eye color we want to have. But the color that we are born with will always signify something important. Blue, for example, signifies that the person is most reliable on water in his/her magic. And it will always be their favorite color. We are a very dependable on magic. Because of this, we are more advanced than you in everything, including math, science and medicine. Jealous? You should be! Frârsoní is a lush island full of vegetation and freshwater lakes. Also mountains. Tall mountains. It may be small but Frârsoní is a magical place. You’ll never doubt that.
In Frârsoní there lived a girl named Fänerv, as I mentioned before. And as I mentioned before, she is a very powerful girl. Her eyes are the color of a very ripe pumpkin, her hair just as brilliant, the color of a flickering flame. And as the sun cast its light upon her hair, it looked as if it were set on fire. Her personality matched her power: Fierce and courageous. She is a leader and we are her followers. She leads a battalion In the Frâren army. A girl she may be, but she is as noble and persuasive as any man can hope to be. And her title is well lived. In Frârsoní, we don’t judge by age or height, but by wisdom. In these ways we are not like humans who create a war over something as simple as petroleum, when they can just ask for some!
I do not plan to understand humans but, I wish they would learn to be wise.
Fänerv is right now in war. She enjoys the fight. Adrenaline coursing through your veins but, the deaths are too much to bear at night. Or so she says. Let us see…
Hmm. She fights well. Right now she is yielding a sword of the most beautiful material in the world. It glitters and sparkles as it reflects the afternoon sun. She is waiting for her opponent to move. She wore a mail shirt with a silver shield. Her gauntlets and hauberk that she wore over her armor were the color of freshly ground coffee. At her will she can summon fire to aid her in battle. But it is challenging because her opponent’s power is water, his eyes were the color of clear water on a spring day. They both knew he had the better advantage, but he wouldn’t dare spare a move that could cost him his life. You’d think we’d never fight because of our ways but, truth be told, every race fights. Whether to survive or to win something. Even animals and plants fight for territory. And so are we, right now. They are in the city of Vandor, where their crops are five times better than ours. So we would like to conquer it. They are in a desolate part of the island, where the ground is rough and dry. There is no living thing -save for the Frerös- for miles and miles. The time of day is probably 6 p.m. In the middle of the huge expanse is a huge castle. Its walls are high, made from unknown stone. The doors are tall and made from a thick wood. Surrounding the wood are thick bands of metal, so they would not fall apart.
