Beast Boy was the first Titan to run up to the roof when they heard Raven scream. And he was the first to see that Raven was in pain from something.
"Raven!" he cried, as Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire reached the roof. "What's wrong?"
Raven clutched her head and continued screaming her high, unending wail of terrible agony. As her friends approached her, the demoness's eyes began glowing white. Then, Raven suddenly collapsed and fell silent. A white ball off light rose out of her mouth and she went very still. The glow of her eyes faded.
"R-Raven?" stammered Robin. But Raven didn't move or respond.
The white ball of light that had risen from Raven's mouth glowed brighter and brighter, until it was blinding. Then, it exploded into many different colored lights. One was red, one orange, one yellow, one dark green, one light green, one dark blue, one pale blue, one indigo, one purple, one pink, one brown, one gray, one black, one maroon, one magenta, and one remained white. The lights all scattered over the tower, each equal distance apart. The indigo light hovered over Raven. Then the other lights started glowing even more than the original white one had, as the indigo light descended into Raven's mouth again. As the other lights grew brighter and brighter Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire had to close and cover their eyes. Then the lights abruptly faded.
After a few more seconds of shielding his eyes in case the lights came back, Beast Boy uncovered them and looked around. What he saw shocked him. Most of the lights had become Raven--or, rather, a part of her personality! He even recognized a few! In fact, the only lights that hadn't become Raven's personalities were the white one, and the indigo one--although the indigo one seemed to have become Raven herself. All of the Ravens were lying on the roof, unconscious.
Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire gasped as they too saw all the different Ravens.
"What the--!" cried Robin. Starfire exclaimed, "Raven never told us she is capable of making more of her!"
"Um... Star?" said Cyborg. "Those are the different sides to Raven's personality."
"HUH?" cried Robin. Beast Boy replied, "You remember the day after Raven lost her temper in our first battle against Dr. Light?" Robin and Starfire nodded, and Beast Boy continued, "Well, Cyborg and I ended up accidentally using her mirror to teleport into her mind, where we met several of her different emotions."
"Yeah," said Cyborg. He listed them, pointing at the emotions he mentioned. "First we met Pink Raven. She's Raven's Happy side, and she liked to laugh a lot. Then we met Gray Raven. She's her timidity, and she seemed to like apologizing because she wouldn't stop doing it. And then we met Darker Green Raven. That one is the Brave one, and was really good at fighting. And Red Raven is Raven's Rage. She set a bunch of creepy birds to attack us."
Robin started to speak, but was interrupted by several moans as all the Ravens stirred and regained consciousness. They all sat up, and Robin said, "Are you okay, Raven...s?"
