It took a couple seconds after Robin's concerned question for all the Ravens to respond. Probably because they hadn't been out or expressed in who knew how long. Then, they began reacting in their own ways.
"Hahaha! Free! Free! I'm freeeeeeeeeeee!" laughed Pink Raven, dancing and spinning in circles.
"This Tower is hideous!" cried Orange Raven.
"Did you have to break the mirror, Robin?" demanded Yellow Raven. "I was in the middle of a really good book."
"ROBIN BROKE IT!?" yelled Red Raven as Black Raven shrieked, "I HATE YOU ROBIN!"
"I wanna go hooooooooome!" wailed Pale Blue Raven, bursting into tears.
"We're doomed! We're doomed! We're okay but we're doooooomed!" cried Dark Blue Raven.
"What are we going to do?" whispered Gray Raven.
"I know what I'M gonna do," said Purple Raven smiling as she looked at Beast Boy.
"Hands off, Love!" said Maroon Raven. "He's MINE!"
"NOT FAIR!" yelled Light Green at Maroon Raven and Purple Raven. "You two have all the fun!"
"Stop talking everyone!" said Magenta Raven. "We have to figure out how to fix this before Trigon gets through!"
Brown Raven screamed and hid behind the Original Raven at the name of Raven's father.
"I can take him on!" cried Dark Green Raven. The Original Raven rolled her eyes and said, "Not alone you can't. It took all of us combined to defeat him every time we've fought him."
"Wait... what?" asked Cyborg. Yellow Raven frowned and said, "The mirror Robin broke was the mirror portal into Raven's mind. It was created by Trigon--" Brown Raven screamed again "--so when it was shattered, all of Raven's different sides to her personality were released. But it was also cursed so that when we got out it triggered a timed spell that will in one month destroy all of the Ravens, and our power and life force will return to Tri--someone give Fear a pair of earplugs or something!" Yellow Raven cried as Brown Raven screamed and covered her ears. Magenta Raven snapped her fingers and a pair of earplugs appeared in Brown Raven's ears.
"Thank you, Mischief," said Yellow Raven. "Now, as I was saying, our power and life force will return to Trigon, and he'll be able to return to life and destroy the world."
"Which is WHY Raven never let ANYONE in her room, you nitwits!" Red Raven yelled at Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire.
"That's enough, Rage," said Magenta Raven.
"Oh, no!" groaned Robin. "I am so sorry, Raven...s. Is there any way we can stop this?"
"Yes," said the Original Raven. "You're going to need to catch all of my different sides, and then put the mirror together again. Unfortunately, my father also made a spell on the mirror so that anyone who tried to catch my different sides would have to beat them at their own personality game, which will bind us to whoever defeats us, and then defeat my White side to fix the mirror."
"Huh?" asked Beast Boy in confusion. "What do you mean, 'beat them at their own personality game'?"
"Have more fun than Happy," said the Original Raven. "Be more annoying than Attitude. Outsmart Wisdom. Be angrier than Rage. Complain more than Hatred. Find things more tragic than Sorrow. Freak out more than Despair. Be shyer than Timidity. Flirt more than Love. Seduce Lust. Be more jealous than Envy. Mess around more than Mischief. Find things more terrifying than Fear. Be Braver than Courage. Be more sarcastic and emotionless than me. That's what I mean.
"Oh," said Beast Boy. "So Which one's which?"
"Pink is Happy," replied the Original Raven. "Orange is Attitude. Yellow is Wisdom. Red is Rage. Black is Hatred. Pale Blue is Sorrow. Dark Blue is Despair. Gray is Timidity. Purple is Love. Maroon is Lust. Light Green is Envy. Magenta is Mischief. Brown is fear. Dark Green is Courage."
"Where have the other Emotions of Raven gone?" cried Starfire suddenly. Everyone looked around. While the Original Raven had been talking, the other Ravens had disappeared.
"It's part of the curse," said the Original Raven. "You have to find them. Once you defeat them, they'll have to do anything you say. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going away too."
"Whatever," said Cyborg. The Original Raven looked at him.
"Excuse me?"
"Who cares if you leave?" replied Cyborg. "It's like you always say. Emotions are pointless. And it's no use being upset if you leave. I mean, the world's gonna come to an end someday. Might as well be now."
The Original Raven stared. Suddenly, an indigo glow surrounded her, and she blinked.
"Very clever, Cyborg," she grumbled. "Okay, now I'm bound to you, so I'll help you capture my different sides."
"So what do we do?" asked Robin. The Original Raven just glared at him.
"Uh... how do I transfer this binding to someone else?" asked Cyborg. The Original Raven replied, "You can't. But you can add anyone else by telling me that you extend the Binding Spell to them."
"Okay," said Cyborg. "Raven I extend the Binding Spell to Beast Boy, Robin, and Starfire."
"All right," sighed the Original Raven. "To answer your question, Robin, it'll be easier if all of you split up to take down my personalities. I'd suggest Starfire take on Happy and Attitude. Cyborg could probably defeat Wisdom and Envy. Robin will only be able to bind Courage. Beast Boy can catch Sorrow, Timidity, Love, Lust, Mischief, and Fear--maybe Rage if he can pull off the temper he had from the first time he defeated Adonis until he recieved the Werebeast Antidote. You'll all have to work together to capture Hatred and Despair, so I suggest you concentred on my other sides first. And you may need extra help from the Titans East for Hatred."
"So how do we find your different personalities, Friend Raven?" asked Starfire. The Original Raven's eyes glowed indigo as she replied, "All of them are in Jump City, except for Wisdom, Hatred, Love, Lust, and Courage. Wisdom is in the Library of Congress, reading--is that The Grapes of Wrath, Wisdom? Ooh, good choice! She's reading The Grapes of Wrath," she said to the Titans. "Love and Lust are in Paris right now. Love is standing on the top of the Eiffle Tower, and Lust is busy buying croissants and crepes. Courage is in Tokyo. She's looking for something to fight. Typical. She's always looking for something to fight."
"And Black Raven?" asked Beast Boy. The Original Raven frowned, and said, "It'll be easier to control all of my personalities if you just call us all by the part of me we represent."
"So, we should call the others Happy, Attitude, Wisdom, Rage, Hatred, Sorrow, Despair, Timid, Love, Lust, Envy, Mischief, Fear, and Courage," said Robin. "But what about you?"
"I am Raven--just without emotions," came the response.
"So should we just call you Raven?" asked Starfire.
"Yes."
"So where is Hatred?" asked Beast Boy. Raven replied, "She's in the place I hate more than any other: Florida. Specifically right now, the Everglades. She'll probably wander around the state, though, hating all over it."
"Okay then," said Robin. "We'll split up and take on the versions of you that you suggested. Raven, you stay here. If we need you to help us, we'll contact you through the communicators."
Raven nodded, and the team split up to hunt down her different personalities.
