"I wish I had the starring role,

instead of being the character,

who's only there to fill the hole.

But I'm not ever the starring role,

I don't even have any lines,

I'm just very dull,

The girl who's existence in the movie

is just to be an useful prop,

I'm just another stepping stone for the plot twist,

that is about to drop."

"She's coming our way." he whispered as he wrapped his muscular arms around me. I looked his way and faked a smile. He did the same and gave me a loving smile. Anyone would've thought that we're so in love with the looks we gave each other, the smiles we share and the constant display of affection. Oh, but it didn't work that way. He knew that I was in need of money, trying to help my family. What better way to ask a favor?

He nuzzled his face against my neck and sighed with feign content. I closed my eyes and run my fingers through his dark locks, telling myself that it'd only be a few more weeks before all of this ends. Did I want this? I do not know. But I was willing to do anything to have my family eat three meals a day and have a roof above their head to sleep on. "I love you.." he said upon laying a chaste kiss on my shoulder "I love you too." I whispered in reply. If I didn't know that he was just using me, I would have thought that all of this is real.

"Jimin, she's gone." I informed as I saw her retreating figure. Jimin pulled away from my neck but still let his arm linger around my waist. "Tell me, what was her reaction." he asked eagerly, scooting closer as though there was still space between us. "She was staring at us and her friends were whispering. I guess it's working." I timidly said as I report what happened when he was not looking. Jimin grinned from ear to ear, happy that it was all going according to him. "Well, you also did a great job today kid. Everyone bought that kissing scene in the lockers." he said with a smirk. I felt heat creep up my neck, "Please don't remind me about that."

"Why not? You're a pretty good kisser if I might say so." he continued to tease. I hit his chest and pushed him away, feeling terribly abashed. "Aww, babe. You're blushing." he said, giggling like a little school girl "Don't worry, what I said was an actual compliment." he added, completely pulling away from me to drink from his water bottle. I peered at him in the most discreet way possible. This were the kind of times where I wished he wasn't just using me to lure his ex back in. This were the times where I wished that whatever was going in between us was real.

My thoughts were cut off by the school bell, signalizing that lunch was over. "I'll walk you to your next class." Jimin offered but you just wanted to be on your own for a while so you declined, using the excuse that he might get late for class. He didn't think of it as something suspicious and just shrugged it off. He was a year higher than me so his classroom was one level above mines. Jimin bid his goodbye as he continued to go up the flock of stairs whilst I continue my walk towards my classroom.

We have been doing this for a month now and I'm afraid that I'm starting to have feelings he won't ever reciprocate. I'm just the girl who's helping him get his ex back. Maybe another reason why I agreed to it was because I had feelings for him that just started to make itself known. He's just using me. I'm just another prop for his love story; just another side character. And that's all I'll ever be to him, nothing more and nothing less.
