Recently I donated 16 inches of my hair to locks of love and I kind of wanted to do some hair accessories in honor of that.

*Sorry if all these complicated supplies are scaring you off, but don't worry the head band is simple to make*

Steps:
1. Cut 2 pieces of about 5.5 inches of the silver aluminum wire using the wire cutters.

2. Bend the wire you just cut into the shape you want your cat ears to be. I bend mine into a sort of V with rounded edges.

3.

Use your needle nose pliers to make small loops on both ends of each wire. Make sure the loops are facing outwards

4. Wrap your beading wire several times around one loop of the cat ear and head band until it hold in place. Do this to every loop. You can do it with you needle nose pliers or your hands. I always find this the most difficult part and it might take a while to get right the first time.

You might notice I wraped a little of the beading wire around the headband. I did this so it doesn't slide around while you wear it.

5. Last step is fixing, flattening, and adjusting the ears so they look correct- by that I mean like real cat ears- on your head
