Please, do not copy my story. I have ownership of all characters, and the plot. If you see anyone trying to claim work similar to mine as their own, please tell me. If you also see my story posted on any other website, please tell me so that I can take them to court. My point is, don't steal my stuff, and I won't give you any problems. Thanks!

I don't want to get out of bed....but I have to. I really have to hurry up, considering it is a very big week. It is final testing day in THREE DAYS. I will be tested to see if I will become an Angel...or....well I really don't want to talk about the other choice. I have been training for this day my whole life.....even though no one knows what the test is about. Unless you are already an Angel, of course.

So, I reluctantly roll out of bed and get dressed. We do not train in special clothes, so I am only wearing a tee-shirt and jeans. I walk downstairs into my kitchen, where I eat my usual breakfast of a healthy fruit and cereal. It is warm out, so I don't need a coat as I walk out the door. At the end of the road, I see Lauren.  Lauren is my trainer. She is sort of like my mother in a way. She is an Angel, but dresses as if she is a normal human being. We take a right and begin our short walk to the training center. As we near the training center, I see a familiar figure waiting for me. It is Kyle.

Kyle is my best friend. We have trained together every day since we met when we were 3. We were partnered together and it stuck. Kyle acts like my older brother, even though we are the same age. Sometimes I wish that he would be less protective of me, but I guess he feels responsible for me. He never goes too easy on me though, so I am grateful for that. Since we are the same age, we will be tested with all of the other trainees. Kyle is so sure that I will become an Angel; I can't help but feel reassured by him. Although I did prepare myself for the worst.

Technically, Lauren should not come with me into the training center. Since I have less than a week of final training, she is no longer in charge of seeing my training through. I am her first student though, so I can see why she might want to be with me for this final week. I am glad she is here with me. We only train for half of the day, so Kyle and I will get to talk later.  We are supposed to be focused when we train, not that Kyle and I are ones for rules.

When we train, we learn how to control and use our Angelic powers. We also learn how to defend ourselves against creatures, demons and other Angels' powers. Yes, some Angels go rouge, and we have to know not only how to use our powers, but how to protect ourselves from them as well. I am trained in physical combat too. I know how to swing a sword and throw a punch. Kyle and I are training in one against one combat, using our bare hands. We will not always have weapons at our disposal. Most Angels become Warriors Angels, which are Angels that do not live in the Angel Kingdom, but stay on Earth to protect humans. Warriors have to blend in as normal humans, but they have to train in the Angel Kingdom first. Right now, Kyle and I are practicing just in case we are assigned as Warriors.

Kyle catches me off-guard and puts me in a head-lock. We are about the same height; I am only a little bit shorter than him, so it probably wasn't that hard to do. I struggle to twist around, my long, blonde hair hitting him in the face, and manage to elbow him in the stomach hard enough that he releases his arms from around my neck. In the second it takes him to catch his breath, I swiftly kick his legs out from under him. I then offer him my hand to help him up. He takes it and, before I can react, I am laying on my back. He had pulled me down while he pulled himself up. He then held out his hand to me, smirking. I took it, admitting defeat. "That was a smart move." I told him. "Thanks." he said, as we went to go get our bottles of water. We were always a good match for each other.  Our strengths are pretty equal. I took a sip of water, and then we started to put away the mats. Our training was over for today, so we have the rest of the day to do whatever we want.
