Endless || Luke Hemmings

|| TWO ||

"Daisy Lee Wilson! Get your butt out here!" Luke shouted from my driveway. 

"I'm coming!" I shouted back at him, making my way downstairs with my backpack strapped to my back. 

Today, Luke and I were finally leaving on our summer long adventure around Australia, with nothing stopping us.  We had agreed on taking Luke's car on our trip as it had more space for all of our stuff, and we already had our first stop mapped out, which we were hoping to reach by tonight. 

I walked out the door and was greeted by Luke, not-so-patiently waiting for me. 

"About time Daisy!" He laughed, coming over and pulling me into what I call a Luke Hug: He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist, burrying his head into my neck. 

"You know what Lucas, it does take a while to get everything ready for and endless roadtrip!" I joked with him, poking at his sides. 

"Took me less than a few minutes" He retorted. 

"Well, for your sake I hope you packed more than one pair of underwear" I giggled, as he grabbed my bag, loading it into the back of his car along with the rest of the supplies. 

Both of our families were now gathered in my driveway, ready to say goodbye to us. 

I walked over to hug both of my parents. 

"Be good" My dad said, "Luke, you better look after my little Daisy!" He jokingly threatened. 

"You know I will Mr. Wilso!" He called back to my dad, using one of the nicknames they used with one another. 

"Have a great time Daise, call us if you have any troubles" Mum said, kissing me on the cheek. 

"Thanks mum" I said, hugging her tighther. 

Next it was over to Luke's parents, who I had always called Parents number 2, as I was quite possibly at their house more often than I was at mine. 

"Bye guys" I said, giving them both hugs. 

"Make sure Luke doesn't get into trouble" His mum said, earning a groan from Luke. 

"Mum we're going to be fine!" He laughed, giving her another hug, before grabbing my hand and leading me to the car, Luke getting in the dirver's side, and myself in the passenger side, instantly setting my feet on the dashboard and leaning out the window to wave goodbye to our families. 

"Have a great time!" They called, as Luke beeped the horn and we took of down the street, finally beginning our adventure. 

Turning out of our street, Luke plugged his phone in and instantly hit play, blasting out our favourite song. 

"We are wild, we are like young volcanoes. We are wild, Americana, Exotica, do you wanna feel a little beautiful baby!"

We both sung the chorus at the same time, looking at each other and smiling. 

"I'm glad we're doing this" Luke grinned at me. "Thanks for agreeing to my crazy plans" 

"Couldn't let you go on this wild adventure by yourself, could I!?" I laughed at him, sitting back and enjoying the road ahead. 

SHORRRRT CHAPTER, but i swear they're gonna get longer! 

Anyway, if you haven't figured it out, Luke & Daisy are bestfriends since childhood. 

This isn't going to be a typical "Lukes my bestfriend & now i love him" fanfic, so don't stress ;) hahaha.
