"Life's so boring" she thought to herself, she was listening to music while she was on the train back home. How she wish that her life was more colorful, more fun and more engaging.
As she daze out the window of the train, the train entering the underground, suddenly it screeched loudly and jerked, Airis felt her body flung to the side. Then everything went silent and she lost consciousness.
...
She woke up with a pounding headache and began to observe her surroundings.
Where am I?
She was suspended in the air where the sky was midnight blue with twinkling bright stars. The glowing moon seemed to be ethereal and filled with magic. Did she died in the train and now in heaven or something?
"Welcome little one! Welcome to my abode!" a loud voice boomed out loud making her ears which almost deafening her and making her heart stopped for a while.
"Sorry little one, I forgot how fragile can a human's eardrum be. Apologies." a man in his 30s materialized in front of her.
"Are you God? Am I dead?" she asked in confusingly.
"Yes, I'm one of the many gods, name's Kan. You are also not dead." He grinned.
If I am not dead, yet I am floating in the air and in such a mysterious place. Is this a dream or a sick joke?
Kan smiled as he read her mind, "You're here because I brought you here. I felt like doing that, so why not?"
What the actual fuck, he seems so irresponsible, how is he a god? Bringing me here for no reason, I was planning to have an anime marathon later. Airis glared at him.
"Nuh uh, no swearing little one!" Kan teased.
What is he talking about? I didn't swore out loud. Wait... Can he hear her thoughts?
"Yep, crystal clear. You see, I've been alive for a while and I'm bored so I decided to bring you here! You'll be my little entertainment."
"No." Airis immediately shot him down. "I want to go home and watch anime. Shoo away"
"You will get to travel to different anime universes though?" He tried to tempt her.
Airis' eye began to sparkle. "Anime universe? Explain."
"You will get to travel to different anime universe, maybe date around... In each universe, you will be assigned as the main character. Fun isn't it?"
"Yes!" Airis gripped onto Kan's hands eagerly. "When can we begin?"
"Now! "
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Kan chuckled at her reply. "However you have to be careful if you were to get injured in any way, or even death, it'll be real. Understand?"
"Death? Are you sending me to a dangerous anime?"
"No, but you still have to be careful ok? " he looked at her tenderly and touched her face. He shook his head. She'll be ok. I know it.
"Ok..." He seems sad. What's wrong?
"Well I have to go now! I'll have fun watching your adventures! Good luck!" Kan grinned and disintegrated into thin air.
"Kan?"
