~Moons POV~

I woke up to the sound of my boyfriend sonic snoring. I smiled softly looking at him.

I stood up stretching. It was to early to get up but I knew I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep.

"Up so early?" Said a sleepy sonic.

"Yup." I smiled at him and sat back down on the bed.

He grabbed my wrist kissing the scars that were on them. It was a new habit of his. Every morning he would kiss my scars.

"I love you moonlight." He said flashing one of his perfect smiles.

"I love you too." I said kissing him softly.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said yawning.

"Guys! I just invented something amazing!" Said tails who seemed to be ecstatic about something.

"What is it little bro?" Sonic asked standing up.

"I'll show you... But shouldn't we show the others?" He asked.

"Yeah that would probably be a good idea." Said sonic.

"Didn't Amy say she had an announcement to make?" I asked them.

"Oh yeah... I forgot. Everyone's coming over at one." Said sonic.

"Great! I can show everyone then!" Said tails happily.

~Briars POV~

I was awoken by my sister shaking me. I saw shadow had already gotten up.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"We have to go to sonics house are you ever gonna learn how to wake up?!" She asked.

"Oh yeah." I had forgotten. I shooed her out of my room so I could get dressed.

I sighed looking in the mirror. "You're not 15 any more Briar Rose you need to stop sleeping." I said to myself.

I got dressed and pulled a brush though my hair until I looked socially acceptable.

It still felt weird living in shadows house even though I've lived here for two years. Ambrosia and me finally didn't have to share a room since she got the attic.

Shadows house was dim and dark. But I liked it the whole place also smelled like shadow which was a bonus.

I walked down stairs and saw shadow and ambrosia sitting at the table. Shadow was drinking coffee and Ambrosia was reading a book.

"Look who woke up." Shadow said smirking.

"Oh shut up." I said taking his coffee and taking a sip.

"I was drinking that." Shadow said.

"I'm to lazy to make more." I laughed and handed it back to him.

He cracked a small smile. Ambrosia looked up from her book and rolled her eyes.

"Are you two love birds ready to go?" She asked. "We don't want to be late."

"Yeah I'm ready." I said. "Come on let's go see what Amy's announcement is."
