Lost in Anti-Mobius (a sonic the hedgehog fanfic)

Moonlight

~Tails POV~

I couldn't sleep at all. I wanted to got to Anti-Mobius. It was nagging me in the back of my mind. I stood up to go find Ambrosia.

When I walked in the spare bedroom I saw she was awake top

"can't sleep?" I asked walking over to the bedside.

"Nope, you?" She asked sitting up.

I shook my head. "I know it's really late... Or early, but I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah what is it?" She asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go ano an adventure with me?" I asked.

"What kind of adventure?" She asked.

"Well you're gonna think I'm crazy but I really want to go to Anti-Mobius." I said.

"Remember when we got kidnapped and we got trapped it that how this is gonna be?" She asked.

I shook my head "No. I promise. And besides were a lot older now."

"That only happened three years ago." She stood up and stretched "So let's do it!" She said happily putting on her glasses.

"Let's write a note so they'll know where we are..." I said. After we composed a not we walked out to the garage. We stared at the portal.

Ambrosia looked over at me and we nodded. We took a step into the unexplored Anti-Möbius.

~Moonlight's POV~

I woke up to sonic kissing my cheek.

"Hey sleepy head." He said quietly.

"Huh." I said I rolled over to face him and he seemed wide awake.

I remembered how mad I was at him all the sudden. I also remembered how I stayed up cutting myself.

I rubbed the bandage I had wrapped around my wrist not wanting sonic to know. I keep my hands under the covers.

"Moonlight... I just wanted to apologize." He said rubbing his nose. "I'm sorry for-"

I cut him off "I should be the one apologizing Sonic. I acted like a jerk and I shouldn't have done that... I was just having an off day. I'm sorry. I love you..." I said sitting up to face him tears brimming in my eyes. "And I'm sorry I'm sorry because I cut myself. I couldn't help it and I'm sorry."

Sonic pulled me into a hug as I felt tears run down my cheeks. He let my cry in his chest as he whispered "I'm so so sorry for leaving you last night." Over and over again.

After what seemed like a while I pulled my head of his chest which was now covered in my tears.

"So are we gonna be okay?" He asked looking into my eyes. I nodded my head and he took my wrist kissing the bandages.

"Now have you seen tails or Ambrosia?" He asked.

"W-What no! I.." I thought back.

"Well they left you a note." He said handing me an envelope with moonlight scrawled across the front in tails handwriting.

I opened the note reading it quickly. "Sonic they went to Anti-Mobius." I said.

"We should go get them." He sighed.
