Jin worked at a cafe near the border. The border that separated the prey from predators. Jin hummed a popular pop song as he prepared the customers coffee. Two creams and no sugar. Jin was one of the only survivors of the Daisy Meadow Massacre. His mother had shielded them from the wolves and Jin had hid under her dead body until the Massacre was over. Jin was only a little kid when the Massacre occurred. He doesn't remember much, but he does remember what the wolves looked like. Jin handed the coffee to the customer and told them to corm again. Jin scratched his head, careful to avoid his horns. Jin was now a full grown goat, yet the same fear for predators remained. Especially wolves. When lunch break came, Jin took his lunch and went a few blocks down to the border. He hoped to catch a glimpse of a predator. Jin sat his lunch bag down and took out some clover. He munched on it thoughtfully and waited. Suddenly he spotted movement in the shadow of an alley. Jin froze, clover still in hand and mouth wide open. He looked down to see a dragon hybrid and a fox hybrid arguing. "I don't care if you have the money or not, your life is on the line not mine." , said the dragon hybrid. The dragon hybrid was handsome, he had scattered red scales on his face and had golden horns poking out of his light brown hair. The hybrid had a tail lined with red scales and golden spines. The dragon hybrid seemed to be displeased with the fox's behavior. The dragon threw the fox hybrid against the wall and growled loudly. "You may not be killed by me, but my leader is not as forgiving as I am." The fox snorted and the dragon brought his tail down on the fox's head, knocking him unconscious. I gasped and the dragon's head turned towards me. Oh shit. The dragon smiled at me and I turned to jump to the prey side of the wall, but me being me, I tripped. I tripped and fell, to the wrong side of the wall. I felt the impact of the ground and I blacked out. I woke up to the pounding in my head. I could see, but it was dark and I couldn't see much. I looked to my right and saw a cage. This cage had a predator hybrid in it. The hybrid seemed uninterested in anything but the ground. I looked to my other side and saw a metal walkway that led to some stairs. Suddenly two people came down the stairs. I took a deep whiff. The whole place reeked like machinery and blood. Under that I could smell predator. The two figures walked down the staircase and came closer to the cages. They wore bloody lab coats and had unusual colored hair. The shorter hybrid in front had platinum blonde hair and had what looked like snow leopard ears and tail. The taller man behind him had purple and had..... wolf ears..... oh shit. I was screwed. Why me god?! What did I do in the past life to deserve this?! The blonde haired man didn't even glance at me and just walked past my cage. I seemed to have the purple haired man's attention, because he looked at me. His jaw dropped and he ran up to the cage. he looked me over again and swept a hand through his hair, a look of pure astonishment on his face. The purple haired man opened the cage door and started to walk towards me.
