Willow the Pillow's POV:

I wake up in a dark alley filled with lots of trash. Leave it to Kedala to throw me somewhere random and weird. I tuck my feet to my chest, and place both arms firmly on the ground above my head. Kicking outward with my feet, I push out with my arms, blasting me upward and onto my feet. I'm honestly surprised I could do that. I guess the human mind really can do what it puts the mind to.

Judging by my surrounding outside of the alley, I'd say I'm in downtown Nitsua. I assume she sent me here because the area is populated. Well, with Kedala's NL, I shouldn't do much to find that person I'm supposed to meet, since she said she would help me out.

Outside the alley, there are lots of quaint, small shops. One says, "Fortune Telling! I can read your future!" Since I have time to kill, let's go expose that shop for what it really is. Walking inside, someone dressed in purple greets me. Upon closer observation, I see that it's a lady wearing a simple top hat, along with purple robes draping down her entire body. She's looks like she's around 5, 6', and looks to be mid twenties. It looks very unusual.

"Are you here to discover what your future holds?" she asks, a strange glint in her young eyes. She looks confident. Could she truly see the future? It's impossible. She seems relaxed too, her shoulders down, no odd tone, no quivering. Looks like I'm actually going to actually get a little more serious than I thought.

"Sure, I'll discover what it holds. If you don't mind, may I ask questions?"
"Go right ahead," she says, a smirk plastered on her face. Hm. She's showing even more signs of confidence. As if she knows what I'm going to ask. So, what should I ask her that won't be something predictable.
"Could you tell me what kind of hobbies you have?" Although this isn't really in relation to her job, it could at least give me an insight in her life, which in turn, could possibly give me an answer. Normally, people would answer honestly, which, in turn, would help me reach a conclusion, unless they're hiding something. If they are, it could be revealed on their face. So, in a way, this question is actually going to give me an answer on whether or not she'll flinch, or if she has some kind of hidden hobby that could relate to this fortune telling. If I continue to ask her the right questions, and eventually get to her job, it could make her flinch, revealing that she could be a potential fraud, no matter how much she tried to keep her cool facade (Although it may not make sense to the readers, just ask me in the comments about my reasoning. It's difficult to put in words). But if she doesn't, and she answers with a lie of some sort, it will reveal a hidden, subconscious reaction that will give it away. I'll push her to the limit if she lies. Though if she does lie, wouldn't that mean she could possibly be a genuine fortune teller?

"Well, my hobbies are participating in this game, I'd say," she says, her face, showing no signs of reaction. Same with her hands. No fidgeting either.
"What kind of game?" I ask, putting a hand out in curiousity, my expression also shifting. She turns away from the shelf she was fiddling with and looks at me dead in the eye. I begin to sweat. The way her eyes look, brown, yet full of life and wisdom, freaks me out. Maybe it's because of the irregularity of it. I'll write this down later for further analysis. After what seems to be five minutes of nonstop staring, she starts to speak.

"Tell me, have you ever heard of a way to change your life for the better?" she asks, her expression tired and dreamy. Like she's looking at a crush. Yuck. Shaking my head, she sighs. Well, based on my observations, she answered honestly. Sh!t.

"What do you mean?" I inquire. If I can't get any more information from this question, I'll start asking random questions and guessing, which really sucks, and I'll hate using this method if I have to.
"The game I'm playing can really change my life, Willow," she utters, and I suddenly realize something's completely wrong. One, she knows my name, even though I haven't said it once. Two, the only people who knew about my name was the people sent to recruit me for something. Based on the recent events, and the upcoming competition, Number Wars, I think she might be a NL user. She mentioned something about changing life for the better. Based on what I remember, the reward is anything you want, meaning she could change her life completely. Plus, she didn't seem to be lying about anything when I asked my questions. Perhaps her NL power manifested recently and she gained the power of fortune telling? Based on my deductions, everything adds up. Staring at her back, I shoot her a warning glance, as a bluff. I haven't seen any signs of manifestation of my NL yet, and I don't know if it'll be useful in a fight, but right now, all I can do is bluff.
"How do you know my name?"
"My fortune telling showed me that you were coming. Don't worry, I'm not actually going to get into a fight with you, or anything. I just want to request a alliance for the future!" she shouts, the eerie mood gone all of the sudden. Maybe I overreacted a little. No. I need to be like this all the time. When NW starts, I can't trust many people. Perhaps she knows this too, which is why she's recruiting me. Interesting. As if she's reading my thoughts, she smiles.
"Unfortunately, I can only read the future based if the person allows me too," she sighs, throwing her robes off, revealing a more casual appearance, black cargo jeans, with a vest and a t-shirt that says, "Life is fun." Motioning for me to sit down in the chairs to the left of me, she begins to make coffee, based on the smell.
"Would you like some?" she asks, pulling out a coffee cup.

"Sure. I have a lot of questions. Would you mind providing an answer?" She merely smirked in reply. Suddenly, she looks much younger.

After she sets down the two coffee cups on the table in front of me, and sitting down herself, I begin.
"Theoretically, based on what you said about your NL, you shouldn't have been able to read the fact that I was coming. So, who's future did you read?" I say, grabbing my coffee cup, and reading her expression for anything notable I should record.
"Whoa! I didn't expect you to reach an answer that fast!" she gasps while throwing her arms out. "You really a genius." I blush, since that was the first time someone called me a genius. She laughs in response.

"I didn't expect you to show any emotions! You're a fun person, you know that!" Her openness and straightforward responses make me blush even more. Although my head's hot, I gotta try to keep getting answers. Clearing my throat and putting my coffee down, I scratch my head, my nervous habits coming back. How is this making me awkward. I feel weird.
"Well, who d-d-did you..read the future off?" I stutter, feeling steam come out of my ears. I didn't know I could be this weird.
