AUTHOR'S NOTE: the song that she is listening to when she falls asleep is called "18 Days" by Saving Abel, and there's a video next to the story---------------------->

It's a good song--listen to it! lol, anyway...ONWARD

The car ride to the hotel was silent, with only the occasional whispered conversation from thelast row of seats--Zayn and Liam. Harry sat on the other side of Niall, his head turned completely to look out the window. Niall was out cold--we'd gotten into the car, he'd laid his head on my shoulder and passed out. Louis was up front, next to the driver. I didn't know how long this car ride was going to last--no one would tell me what hotel we were going to, "for safety reasons", they said. Right, because I was going to call every one of my friends and tell them where One Direction was staying. For one thing, they wouldn't care--they weren't the type of people to camp outside a hotel for just a glimpse of celebrities, no matter how much they liked them. For another, I'm not the type of person to do that.

There was no music playing in the car, and I hate the silence. I need noise--sometimes, at night, I talk to myself because it's too quiet. My Ipod was in my sweatpants pocket, but I was afraid to move and wake Niall. I looked down at his sleeping face, and sighed. He really was exhausted.

"Harry." I hissed, keeping a careful eye on Niall to make sure he didn't so much as twitch an eyelid.

Harry turned his head.

"Yes?"

"How long until we reach the hotel?" I whispered.

He checked his watch.

"Two hours."

My eyes widened. Two hours?! They were staying two hours away, and didn't bother to tell me?! Two hours away from the building we had been at meant three hours back to my house, because I lived an hour away from it. I cursed under my breath in Italian--because I didn't want anyone to get offended, and I assumed they couldn't speak it--and moved my right arm a little, trying to reach my pocket. There was absolutely no way I could last two hours without music.

Niall grumbled a little in his sleep, moving his head some. I froze, holding my breath. When he didn't move after 30 seconds, I reached again for my pocket, this time getting my hand inside it and on my Ipod when he   started mumbling and nuzzling my shoulder. I stopped again, watching his cute, sleeping face. He didn't move, and I drew my Ipod out, unwound the cord, and put the buds in my ears. He didn't move again. Sighing with relief, I searched through my playlists for some softer rock to sleep to.

One Direction is not rock, and that makes all my friends look at me weird when I listen to one or start to sing one--I'm a rock and country girl to the bone. There are few, very few rap songs that I like, and even less house music. After hearing me sing "Up All Night" at school, my friends decided to check them out--if liked it, then it had to be good. And now, every single one of them loves One Direction.

I found a playlist that I liked, and hit shuffle. I laid my head against the cool window, staring at the starless night. Sometimes the outline of trees would flash past, and the moon peeked from behind it's cloud. I could feel my eyelids slipping down, until I couldn't keep them open any longer and slumped against the window, into sleep.

________

Harry's POV (thats right, I'm giving this a go... :P)

I watched her from the corner of my eye as she kept trying to move without waking Niall. I could've told her that nothing short of a sonic boom could wake him up when he was that deeply asleep, but I just smiled. It was funny watching her freeze every time Niall so much as twitched. When she finally pulled out what she'd been reaching for, I arched a brow in surprise. If she'd wanted music, she could've asked.
