This morning started out on an unusual note, I guess I had temporarily forgotten I'd let someone stay over.

When I'd went to the kitchen I was surprised to say the least, to find a certain albino leaning leisurely against the counter waiting for the coffee machine to finish it's job. I gave a small sigh of brief confusion mixed with early morning annoyance, then went about the kitchen opening cupboards gathering cups, powdered creamer, and powdered breakfasts for the both of us to mix into our coffee. Placing everything on the counter next to the coffee machine, I stepped out of the kitchen making my way to my room. A short while later I found my main uniform and my spare, I was guessing Jiro didn't bring anything with him here. Quickly changing into my uniform I took a glance around my room spotting my contact case I grabbed it putting it in my pocket.

The normal blurriness that accompanied not wearing my glasses made everything seemed hazy to a degree but, not enough to stop me from my routine. Stopping by the bathroom, I placed my spare uniform on the counter next to the shower. Turning to the mirror while taking the contact case out my pocket, I looked at my blurred reflection. Slightly shaggy blonde hair stuck up haphazardly my blue eyes looked off towards the ceiling as I inserted one of my contacts. I took a moment to blink forcing the twitch working it's way up my spine to stop, after placing my other contact in I regarded my seemingly sleep-deprived composure with a scowl.

Upon reentering the kitchen I found Jiro drinking a cup of coffee while running his free hands fingers through his white hair. Grabbing my own cup I added the amounts of sweeteners and such to my own coffee. Stealing another glance at Jiro I stated I'd left my spare uniform in the bathroom for him to wear today.

"Thanks, would you mind if we went to the school together? I don't really know my way around yet." He gave me a genuinely shy grin as he asked this of me, making me have to look away briefly as I thought about it.

"I guess I don't really mind, I mean you're a bit newer to the area then me... so, I should at least show you where to go..." I felt sheepish from his earlier smile, and found myself wondering how he could so freely smile like that.

"Great, I'll be back in a moment." He tilted his head as he grinned childishly at me, from some reason my heart was beating rapidly again. I took a pensive drink of my coffee, figuring I could probably get a bit of reading done while I waited and drank my beverage.

I guess I didn't feel much like reading so I set to tapping my fingers on the arm of the couch while I hummed a tune I vaguely remembered. I knew that singing wouldn't have been a good idea my voice wasn't that great, but it probably would have been safe enough to do so around Jiro. Yuma had no idea about my secret hobby but I wasn't sure if I could trust her to not say something to the administration at Vanderwood about it. Jiro was probably going to have a hard time in an artless, musicless, school. I contemplated telling him as I stared at the ceilings bare rafters.

After a bit I hear a quiet shuffle of feet on the rough carpeting in the hall, looking over at the source of the noise I find my white haired friend struggling with the necktie of the uniform. A smile briefly touches my cheeks as I get up my only piece of furniture to attempt to help, "Not good with neckties or something?"

"These things need to be burned, how do people do this?" Jiro asked with a perplexed look on his face as he tried to tie the knot again.

"Want some  help, or nah?" I responded sounding like I couldn't care one way or another, which differed from my actual feelings on the matter. What ties are expensive and my spare was getting wrinkled as we speak.

"That'd be great, if you don't mind?" Jiro's red eyes looked off to the side as his smile shifted into a soft smile. Was it my imagination or did his face tint a light shade of pink as I took the ends of the tie from his hands, "So you have to wear these everyday, huh?"

I raised a brow at his question as I was finished my work looking up at him slightly, " Um, yeah unless you're a female."

" Huh, why're the uniforms different?" He asked resting his chin in his right palm, was it me or did he seem a bit sassy or something standing like that.

I shrugged in indifference to the question and grabbed my book bag off of the ground asking him if he was ready to go. Jiro responded with two thumbs up and his childish grin, I just turned and left the apartment.

Getting to school hadn't been a problem, apparently it was going to be getting through the building without incident that was going to be the problem. Jiro's group was apparently more popular than I'd originally realized. And... Yuma just had to notice us well, him and yell at the top of her lungs... great.
