After dropping Jiro off at the main office, I was left alone again for the time being. Staring down at the concrete floors I started to think about some of the history passed down to us from the elders. I guess there was a time before the star fall when there was endless amounts of art and music. Where people were more afraid of the things that weren't real, than the those who were mutated in the aftermath of the thousand years of smoke.
Where people like Jiro and his band were common place, rather than the outlandishly strange people who called themselves musicians. I don't know what had got me thinking about this all of a sudden but I honestly couldn't care what the reason was. It was dredging up bad memories for me, so I pulled a textbook out of my pack flipped it open to a random page and started reading.

Boring wooden walls, concrete floor and chalk board. Yup, this is class rows of tables and stools, check. Let's see students who don't know me, check. I shrugged in indifference to my own boredom as I listed through everything in my environment. Just as I sigh slightly agitated for a strange reason unbeknownst to me, the door to the classroom creaks open to reveal our teacher and... a very familiar mess of white hair and matching crimson eyes. I guess my face was a mixture of shock and annoyance as Jiro waved at me with a giant grin on his face. Oh boy, is murder illegal? Cause I feel like I just got a target painted on my back. Shit.

Around lunch time Yuma and I have company for once that I kind of know. Jiro's friend Victor was joining us as well, apparently Victor was a bass guitar player for their band. Victor kind of unnerved me I could immediately tell he was an afterfall human, with his ashen gray skin, neon green eyes, brunt burgundy hair and well his tail too. It resembled a lizards mixed with maybe a lions tail, I dunno I just know that he made me a bit uncomfortable. Unconsciously squirming in my seat I tried to ignore the fact that he was afterfallen and remember that not all of them are like the ones I remembered. Nothing about an afterfallen has ever sat right with me after the... incident...
I guess I flinched a bit when the ashen skin male let out a boom of laughter, because Yuma gave me a very concerned look. She didn't need to ask what was wrong she'd known of my phobia of them for a long time. Sitting awkwardly was the normal thing I did in situations like this. After all, Yuma seemed to be having fun and Henry had yet to show up. Thus that's how lunch and almost the rest of the day went.

After school, I was tackled by someone from the weight I could tell it wasn't Yuma. When I turned my head to look at who it was, a rowdy looking girl greeted my vision with a smile. With more strength then I thought such a petite girl could have she swung me around to face the opposite direction, "Hey Jiro, Victor! This the guy?" , her boomed in my ear with a slight accent I couldn't place.
A group of three people met my vision, Jiro, Victor, and a third male. The girl let go of me after Jiro gave a stifled laugh barely sounding like a yeah and stood with them. The new two were interesting, I guess was the word. The girl had dark skin with bright sunset yellow eyes, and electric blue/green hair. By contrast the male was an intelligent looking blonde with mixed eyes, heterchromia, I think... one was bright emerald green and the other a deep hazel brown with gold flecks. Both had a splash of freckles across their face.
"Sorry about that, Yuya can get a bit zealous." Jiro gave an apologetic smile as the girl, Yuya huffed an 'do not' like a kid being tattled on.
With a laugh the nameless male chimed, "Yes, yes you do Yuya.", offering me his hand in civilized manner, "My name's Chris, I'm assuming your (y/n)."
Taking his hand I give an impression of a smile, "Yeah, nice to meet you."
Unexpectedly, Chris pulled me closer. His breath was warm on my neck while his voice was a low purr, "Jiro's been quite smitten with you recently and I must say I'm curious about you now too."
Even after being release uncomfortable was no where near how awkwardly I felt, I tried leaving but Jiro had asked me to stay with him and his friends. I guessed I didn't mind or know what to do so I stayed, even with how uncomfortable Chris made me feel.
