I looked at Annabella diagnol from me. She showed up in pants and a t-shirt and best of all slippers. Her shirt had a picture of this big singer. A pang of jealousy ran through me. I started laughing as she started eating. Generally we have to wait for the king to eat for us to start eating. I start eating too. The girls immediately follow. They eat slowly trying to remember the manners. Annabella however, eats fast and quickly advances to the next course. We're thirty minutes in the meal when she stands up and leaves. She doesn't  ask to be excused or bow, she just leaves. My parents look at her, then at me.

"I think you've developed a little crush," my dad teases. Instead of replying, I turn bright red.

"Do you think you could teach me how to ask a girl out?" I ask. My dad laughs,

"sure thing Charles, on one condition, me and your mother get a detailed explanation of what happens on your dates," he answers.
"It's a deal," I reply before excusing myself.

"Ok, me and America have decided to teach you together. We have decided that you will practice on your mom and she will be very picky about how you ask," my dad said while walking across the room. "Give it a try," he said.

"Okay," I started. I walked to the closed door that my mom was behind and knocked lightly.  She answered.

"Um...do you want to go on a walk with me to through the gardens?" I asked nervously. My mom looked at me with a smirk.

"No," she answered. I froze. Without thinking I walked away. My dad looked at me wide eyed,

"Well my son, we have a long way to go." I laughed nervously.

I walked towards her room. I finally reached the door. I put my hand out to knock but quickly retreated. I ran down the hallway. My parents stopped me dead in my tracks, turned me away and pushed me back to her door. I got there again. I gently knocked. No backing out now. The door unlocked.

"Come in," her voice rang. I opened the door a little and peeked my head in. She smiled, clearly holding back a laugh. Her and her three maids were sitting on the bed. She was in sweats and a t-shirt. She smiled encouragingly.

"Uh..., wrong door sorry," I stuttered.  I stepped out side. My parents were watching me. I stepped back in the room. All eyes were on me. "Actually, this is the right room. Do you want to go to the movie theater with me to watch a movie?" I asked with all my courage, "around two." she looked at me deep in the eyes as if staring I too my soul.

"Sure," was all she replied. I took the answer and ran out of the room a rounds fast as I could.

My parents were waiting. I gave them a thumbs up and dashed to my room. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I layed on my bed. Her and her maids were probably laughing at me. Well, I don't care, I have a date to get to.
