You were walking in town, looking for volunteer work. You happen upon a notice board, where a mechanic needed help. You followed the letter's instructions to an unsightly shed.

Inside the shed, you see a two tailed fox, head deep in machinery. "A two tailed... Fox?" You ask out loud.

"Hey! If you're going to make fun if me, leave now! I can easily hurt you with anything in this shed!" You heard the Fox talk.

"Whoa... A fox that can talk too? That's so cool!" You say out loud. The Fox kept his head inside the machine.

"Quit it! If you're hear to help, grab that welder and give me a hand." The Fox commanded. You obey, and approach the orange fox. The Fox beckoned you closer with his hand, sensing your presence. The Fox pulled his head out from the machinery, and you saw him. His blue eyes, and orange fur, tarnished with soot. "Wow... He's pretty cute..." You think to yourself. You notice the Fox blush. "Does he think I'm cute too?" You think to yourself.

"What's your name?" You ask the Fox.

"Miles Prower. But everyone calls me Tails. What's yours?" Tails asked with sudden care in his voice.
"(Y/N). Nice to meet you. Here, let me do that." You take Tails mask and start welding.

"Impressive." Tails complimented, placing a hand on your back.

You keep your focus on the project, and get into it. After a while, you pull out, to see Tails gone. "Tails?" You ask.

"I'll be right there!" You hear Tails yell. Once he returns, he does so with a wet rag. "Here. Wash up." You take his rag and rub your face of soot. As soon as your done, Tails rubs his clean face with yours in a cuddle. You blush. "You're cute." Tails tells you, blushing.

You chuckle "You're cute too." You show Tails your work.

"Very impressive. Let's take a break and eat. I made chili dogs." Tails leads you to the kitchen where chili dogs awaited on plates

"Thanks." You take a bite, and you love it. "Mmm! You're a good cook!" You compliment him.

Tails puts down his silverware and walks over to you.

"...Yes?" You ask timidly.

Tails cuddles you. "I like you. I know we just met but-"

You cut him off by kissing him. You hear him gasp, but relax in the kiss.

"Actions speak louder than words." You say after breaking the kiss.

"You can stay the night if you want." Tails blushed.

"Sure. You cutie."

From then on you were the best of friends. (sorry for the rushed ending. ran out of ideas)
