Chapter 2

I woke up putting on my cheer uniform and covered my arm with bracelets.

I walked downstairs and went outside to my car and drove out of the driveway I turned on my radio and on came my favorite song  Everything I hate about you by three days grace.

I started singing along to the song along the way to school I ran to the bathroom and changed out of my uniform and into a white T-shirt skinny jeans converse and a SnapBack hat today was the day I quit cheerleading.

I went to the coach of the cheer team and turned in my uniform.

I took a deep breath and walked out of the room and went to class let the punishments begin.

I sat in my class I noticed that my boyfriend hadn't came in usually he'd already try to make me do things but he wasn't here yet.

The class was now full but still no Alexander next to me.

"Turn to page 39 in your textbook and begin working" Mrs.Paige said.

I was reading the assigned book for English class when the door slammed shut I was hoping it would of been Alex but it wasn't.

I looked up to see the boys eyes my hazel eyes met his crystal blue eyes I couldn't stop staring at him Mrs. Paige introduced him to the class but I didn't hear what she said but he sat right next to me.

After he sat down Alexander came in the classroom threatening the boy.

I looked down to the book and began reading.

"What are you doing sitting here where I usually sit" he yelled.

"Why are you sitting in my girls seat" he yelled at me.

I looked up at him for a minute I couldn't keep the eye contact with him I kept looking away then softly said.

"It is me Alex" I said really softly.

"What the hell did you do to yourself you look like an emo freak" he yelled.

"Hey don't talk to her like that" the boy said.

I had tears threatening to stream down my face.

"Are you cheating on me with him you bitch" he accused me.

"I don't even know him" my voice cracked.

"Lair" he screamed then slapped me across the face.

Alex then drug me out into the hallway and began hitting me and kicking me hard.

He then pushed me into the lockers I fell to the ground sobbing hoping he'd realize what he's doing but he never did.

My body grew numb so I couldn't feel it anymore.

I did however feel someone pull him off of me.

"Come on" the boy said in a soft soothing voice.

He took me home and helped me upstairs.

"Thanks" I said.

"Do I need to call your parents" he asked.

I shook my head no and sat on my bed sobbing.

He sat next to me and held me something Alex never did unless he wanted to have sex.

"I'm Asher Peterson" he said.

I half heartedly smiled at him

"I'm Dakota Ivy" I said.

"Such a beautiful name Dakota" he said.

"Thanks If only Alex thought that" I told him.

"Why are you with him" he asked.

"Honestly I don't know I don't even like him" I confessed.

Asher leaned in closer and gently kissed my lips softly.

I slowly kissed him back but pulled back but instantly regretted it I missed his lips on mine.

Ugh what is wrong with me I just met this guy but he's so different and sexy I want him to be mine.

"What's wrong" he asked.

"I can't cheat" I told him.

"Oh that's okay" he said.

I looked away from him and looked at my phone I got a text from my best friend Coralline telling me to break up with Alex.

"What why" I told her.

"He cheated on you with me and Brooke" she said.

"I don't believe you" I said.

Get over yourself you're no longer cheer captain D or a cheerleader he doesn't want you anymore.

Coralline is super popular if she likes you you're cool if she doesn't you're a loser.

Coralline has always wanted Alex I don't know why I mean yeah he's popular and the all star quarterback but this year there cutting everyone and doing try out cause there's a new coach and wants to see who has got what it takes.

"You can have him Coralline I don't want him" I told her.

"What's wrong" Asher asked me.

"I think Alex has been cheating on me" I said.
