I managed to regain the strength I lost while sitting in the corner of the room, not even able to think properly as I heard my phone ring for the third time. The sun had already made it's welcome to the world as it's rays broke through the curtains. I slowly arosed from my position on the ground and walked around the card and photos before grabbing my phone and seeing it was Ji-Won calling me.
"Hello?" I managed as I put the phone against my ear and looked at the now cool tea. I didn't touch that either so I reached and grabbed the teapot before sipping the cool liquid. It was sweet, but bitter. An addicting taste that my tastebuds couldn't ignore. I continued to sip it as I heard more noise from the other end.
"Y/N are you still looking for a job or have you even looked? I've been spamming you forever now!" She said as I soon finished the first cup of the tea.
"Yea...I am still looking. Anything would help me right now I just really need a job...," I stated as I then grabbed the teapot and started to walk out the room and into the kitchen to put the teapot on the counter for now instead of letting it sit in my room all day. The house didn't have an uncomfortable vibe to it but the hairs on the back of my neck still stood tall.
"That's great then, I need an intern, just for me and I recommended you to my boss and sent your phone number to him as well. Seriously you would help me so much, I have been swamped recently and it's giving me wrinkles as well as even I don't know how to call it. Grey hairs...I am 23 and I look 50."
Ji-Won started to complain. I didn't mind it though, she always needed to vent and I was always there for her and still am even if I am the second youngest of them all. I still managed to act the most mature.
I laughed as I listened to her before speaking, "When should I look forward to be contacted by your boss? Or when do you think?"
"Maybe a day or two tops. You know what I mean?"
"Yea of course, thank you so so so so much for this I owe you something. How about a lily?" I teased for a brief moment.
"Keep them demon things away...but I got to go flower baby. Byeee."
I was about to say bye before she hung up, I was still going to out for the day...even if that meant just walking around. Just I couldn't stand being by the lilies. After the whole almost death experience I was honestly so scared I couldn't think striaght.
I checked the time on my phone, it wasn't that much later than I thought, it was now 8:27am. Perfect time for quiet music and to see what I could make for breakfast. But I was still nervous those things or well.
Don't call them things. They look like gods or some shit. Heavenly beings.
I brought my bottom lip in between my lips and slowly started to open the fridge, there was food there. But I couldn't decide, an omelette could always be a good choice. My eyes scanned what was there and then decided to make french toast instead.
I grabbed the milk and eggs from the shelf in the fridge and closed the door with my hip while slightly losing my footing and grimacing at my own failures.
You can't even close a damn fridge
I groaned and started by getting a bowl that I could put the mix in after placing the stuff on the counter, I then went to get the vanilla extract but couldn't find it. I knew there had to be some here, my grandmother always had extract and everything food wise was replaced by my friends and of course there was the non perishables.
Where the fuck is it?
I quietly just listened around to hear if there was anything, just in case and I still couldn't seem to fine the extract when I heard something be placed on the counter behind me. I froze and gulped, I thought it was probably just me who had knocked anything over.
