JAMIE POV;

Ice swirls around in my drink as I spin the cup in my hand trying to keep myself entertained. I'm usually not a day-drinker, but the bar was empty, so I figured while I was waiting on Dakota to get out of hair and makeup, I might as well get a drink. After an eventful weekend It's nice to be back on set, back on the usual routine. Having Dakota over to meet Amelia and Dulcie turned out even better than I hoped it would. At first I was worried they would hate each other or there would be some kind of jealously or bitterness between them, but there wasn't. Not in the slightest. It was love at first sight, literally. When Dakota saw Amelia her entire face lit up like she was seeing an angel. And of course Amelia fell in love with Dakota instantly upon meeting her. I can tell the two women are going to become absolutely inseparable. Amelia already filled me in on her weekend shopping plans with Dakota. I roll my eyes just thinking about the Dakota and Amelia love fest I'm going to have to witness over the next couple months of filming. My thoughts are interrupted by a pair of hands on my shoulders, making me nearly jump out of my seat. "Day drinking? Really Jamie?" Dakota asks, eyebrows raised in fake concern, as she plops down onto the seat next to me. "I was bored and I thought perhaps I could use a little liquid courage for our scenes today." I defend myself, smiling when Dakota squints her eyes at me, her lips slowly turning up into a smile. "Ooh... Is Jamie feeling a little nervous about our big kiss today?" She teases, mocking my anxiety. "Just a little bit." She giggles and leans in towards me a bit, lowering her voice an octave. "Last time we kissed you seemed to have no trouble with it." My jaw drops slightly at her suggestive comment, and I try to come up with a defense, but before I get the chance she gently reaches out and brushes her arm over mine. "You have nothing to worry about." A wave of calm flows through me at her reassurance. "I'll go easy on you." She takes her hand off me and sits up in her seat, looking just as confident as ever. "But.....Just in case...I think I'll have a little liquid courage myself." She orders a drink for herself and we both down our drinks, then get into our places to begin filming.

The elevator doors close behind us and I even though I know exactly what I'm supposed to do I still hesitate, standing awkwardly still as I look into Dakota's bright blue eyes. She looks so innocent, standing there. I don't want to hurt her, but the scene calls for me to slam her up against the elevator wall, so I can't be gentle. I shake my head, trying to shake my nerves away. I can't hesitate any longer. She's waiting for me to do my part so she can do her's. I take a deep breath, and Dakota gives me a reassuring glance, just before I lunge at her. I grab her delicate face in my hands and push my body up against her's, shoving her into the wall. Instinctively her hands fly up towards my shoulders, desperately clinging to me for support as the intensity of our kiss nearly knocks us both over. I effortlessly toss her hands up above her head and pin them to the wall as well, pushing into her body again with even more force. Our bodies connect perfectly as we kiss, her legs parting to allow my hips to grind against her, and her mouth molding into mine without any hesitation. It's almost too easy. Were both left breathless as the elevator doors glide open and I let her arms drop, moving away from her as quickly as I can. Dakota's hair is a wreck, tufts of it are sticking out in all directions like she's been electrocuted. It takes all the strength I have not to laugh at it. I sneak a glance at Dakota and she cracks into a smile, ruining the end of the scene. "Dammit!" She curses, bursting into a fit of giggles. I can't help it, I start to laugh too. Within minutes we have the whole crew laughing at Dakota's ridiculously cute slip up. "Alright, get your laughs out now. We're gonna need to do a retake to replace the end of that scene and to get a couple better shots." Sam announces, and Dakota nods, getting serious. We do the full scene over again and again, trying our best to perfect it, but by the third retake our serious and professional demeanor begins to melt away. Dakota's moans turn into giggles in my mouth and what's supposed to be me sexily pushing against her turns into a pathetic looking attempt at dry-humping. On our last attempt we totally abandon our character's halfway through. Dakota starts humming a silly tune that I think is meant to be elevator music but sounds a bit more like a commercial jingle, but for some reason I find myself starting to hum along. As the elevator goes down I start dancing to the rhythm of our humming, swinging my arms back and forth in a goofy way that makes Dakota immediately start giggling like crazy. I keep going even after her humming is cutoff by her laugh, wanting nothing more than to prolong her adorable laugh. As the elevator doors glide open we both look at the camera's and laugh, neither of us embarrassed in the slightest at getting caught. We walk out of the elevator together, smiling like idiots. I start to make up an apology, but Sam cuts me off. "Don't worry about it, we got what we needed. You two can take a break now." I can't imagine why we would need a break, after all the goofing off we just did, but I don't argue. So far, working with Dakota doesn't even seem like work at all. I can only hope that as the scenes get more intense that doesn't change. Sam disappears around the corner to talk with Erica and Dakota and I exchange a glance. "Drinks?" Dakota suggests, her eyebrows raised in a hopeful expression. I just nod, following at her side back to the bar to stop and get drinks before we have to get back to filming the rest of the scenes inside the hotel.

Authors Note; Dakota and Jamie being total goofballs is what I live for.
