marriage is something every girl looks forward to in their life. something most of your friends have committed to now at their age. yet you and river, who have been together for about five to six years, have not even mentioned at all.

"i mean, i'm not mad. well, i'm kinda mad, not at him but myself. but i mean, who needs a stupid piece of paper and a huge ceremony to show that you love another person?" you were venting to wil about the situation. he just kind of nodded silently. "ME, I DO!"

"okay Y/N, calm down. i'm sure he's going to propose soon. your six year anniversary is next week. maybe he'll do it then." wil said trying to reassure you.

"if he's not then i'm proposing. fuck stereotypes." you said firmly as wil chuckled.

little did you know that wil and river had a plan. i'm not going to say it was a good plan but it was a plan. river was going to propose, just not right away. they had a whole trip planned out and were about ready to go through with it.

"okay riv, i know you know i secretly like to dress up fancy so thank you for the dinner." you said smiling as he helped you down the small stairs to the car.

"its our six year anniversary it deserves a dinner. but wait, theres more to tonight than you think." river said.

"ooh, okay i'm in. whats your plan?" he checked his watch and it read only 9:15.

"okay driver you know where to go." river said. you looked at the driver to see the one and only wil.

"i knew you had something to do with it." you said softly but they both heard and laughed lightly.

san francisco was you're favorite city, i guess thats why river let you guys live there. it was just home. you looked out of the window lovingly at your city of wonders.

"you're beautiful, you know." river said kissing your cheek.

"you don't have to do this plan of yours riv, i'm just happy to be with you." you said looking at him.

"yes, but i feel like i need to do this." he said as the car came to a stop. he got out and opened the door for you and helped you out.

"castro theatre." you  smiled. "are we going to watch something?" you asked excitedly.

"only your favorite movie." river said leading you through the doors.

"stand by me?" you asked excitedly.

"i hate that that's your favorite but yes." he said as you guys got snacks and for your private showing.

it was about 10:50 when you guys stepped out of the theatre.

"what'd you think of the showing?" river asked twirling you around as wil drove the car up.

"it was great. are we going anywhere else?" you slid into the car as river followed your actions.

"one more stop babe." it only took you about twenty minutes to the last place because of traffic.

"please tell me there's an elevator." you said as you looked up at the tower.

"yes. but lets get up there." you guys walked into the building and went up the elevator. "11:08" riv muttered as he checked his watch.

"what're you waiting for?" you raised an eyebrow at him.

"just. timing." he said as the doors finally opened to reveal the top of the tower.

"oh my god." you gasped as you look over the edge of the tower. "its so magical." you sighed as you spun around happily. the city lights looked like fireflies from where you and river were.

he smiled and glanced down at his watch again "11:10. one minute." he said softly.

"are you waiting until 11:11?" you asked him.

"yes. and it is now that time. what are you going to wish for?" he asked.

"i wish i could spend the rest of my life with you. now its your turn to share your wish." he smiled at your response and he ran his fingers through his hair.

"i wish for you to marry me." he said as he got down on one knee. he also pulled out at black velvet box and popped it open.

"i guess your wish i going to come true then." you smiled and allowed him to slip the ring on your finger. your eyes were welling up now and you wrapped your arms around river.

"thank you for making my wish come true."
