Karma Pov
I can't believe she left me. She went to America just to avoid me? What did I do? I loved her. I gave her my heart, time, and money. I'll follow her and find my answer.
~after plane flight~
I got out of the airport and walked on the streets. Man how can people live here? It's so scary. Not that I'm scared. Before I knew it as I walking this man snatched my dang wallet! I needed that for food and a place to stay. Great I can't go home now. I still have my passport and luggage but all my money was in there. Hopefully my luggage has some cash for something. As I opened it I saw only clothes great.
~Timeskip~
What's with this hotel? It's so old.

Normal Pov
Karma walked in the old building only to be yelled at by an old lady.
"Hey you! Get out! Pay to stay here!" She screamed
"Sorry sorry. I come from Japan and I was just robbed please let me stay here for a couple of days" he wearily said
"No no no no! You can lie" she said
Before Karma was kicked to the curb a h/c haired girl saw him.
"Aunty let him stay he's telling the truth. Just look at him" she said

~Karma Pov~
I don't know whether to be offended or relieved that she said that.
"Ok ok" the lady said
After a couple of minutes of waiting the girl gave me a room.
"Wait" she said
"Yes?" I asked her
"Do you know how to speak Japanese?" She asked
"Yes"
"Teach me"
"Why??"
"I wanna be a tour guide. I need to learn some basic languages and Japanese is my top one"
"Okay sure since you helped me"
"Good. We start tomorrow" she said
Before I could protest she walked away.
-the next day-
I woke up early because he girl was banging on my door.
"Okay I'm gonna show you around and you have to tell me how to say these words"
"Okay sounds easy"
She showed me to the Hollywood sign and she pretended that she was talking to a crowd. Then I got a notification of her. She was smiling. I miss her. Wait maybe Y/n knows this place.
"Y/n"
"Yeah" she asked
"Do you know this place?"
"Y-Yeah but Karma that's in San Francisco. I can't go there"
"I'll pay for it" I said
"I thought you didn't have money?" She said with a smirk
"U-um" I didn't know what to say. Something about her made me uneasy.
"Don't worry we can't take a cab. I'll pay. I just have to ask my aunty"
~back to the hotel~
"First you come here with no money now you take my niece!" The old lady yelled
"Don't worry aunty I asked him to come" she said
"Okay okay"
"Is she really your aunty" I asked as we walked away.
"No. She took me in after my parents went on that long business trip. My parents leave me with her every time they go."
"Is that how you can afford this?"
"Yeah. I'm actually rich"
"wow"
(Very sudden I know. But how does the reader have money to pay for 2 to go to San Francisco)
"We just actually got the hotel and is about renovate it into something more nicer and welcoming"
"That's cool"
-Timeskip to the plane ride-
~y/n Pov~
I was talking to Karma more and I got to know him more. He's really sweet and good looking. I think I'm falling for him. I think he liked me back too. Again we were talking until he said a joke that made me laugh.
"Your laugh is so cute" he said
"No it's not" I said looking down
"Hey look your laugh is amazing" he said
I looked up to see him leaning in. I then found myself leaning in too. Before our lips touched the pilot said that we were about to land.
~Karma Pov~
What was I about to do! My heart goes to her. Not y/n.

As I got down the plane I got another notification of her standing next to a man. They looked nearby. Before I knew it ran. I left Y/n to get our bags caused I told her I had to use the bathroom.
I was running and there I saw her.
"Okuda!" (Idk how to spell her name)
She looked at me in surprise. I walked up to her, held her hand, and placed the ring she left on our bed stand.
"Karma..." She said
~Normal Pov~
Karma didn't notice Y/n standing behind him her mouth agape and tears running down. A man came and held Okuda's hand.
"Come on honey lets go" he said not noticing the ring in her hand.
Okuda dropped it signaling Karma that it's over.
Karma looked depressed and turned around to see y/n walking away.
"Y/n wait!"
~Your Pov~
"Why should I! You lied to me! You used me! I thought you liked me" why did I say that.
Karma just looked at me and said
"I don't like you that way"
"I know. Find your own way out of here" I said with my head down
I went back home by myself. I didn't say anything I was heart broken.
-two years later-
~Karma Pov~
"Karma!" My bosses called
"We have a very important meeting in America. We might be joining companies with them"
"Yes sir" I said
-Timeskip to America-
I got out of the plane and followed the address. This place is the place where I met y/n I regret lying to her. She was a good friend and I actually did think of her as something more. I guess anger blinded me.
The address leaded me to the hotel. It was renovated just like she said. I opened it to see her talking to her parents.
"Aaaaah you must be Karma!" Her father said
"Yes sir" I said
"So formal I like it. Anyways this is my daughter Y/n. She is gonna be your partner for this business" He said
"Nice to meet you" she said with not emotion
"Same here"
-after the meeting-
"This is a nice hotel" I told her parents.
"It was our daughters idea. She wanted this as a place for people who can't afford it and have trouble. It's also a place for tourist. She's a licensed tour guide too" her mother bragged "anyways I'll leave now my husband and I have some other important things to do"
"Okay" she said
"before you say anything else, why are you here?" She asked
"For a business"
"Okay good you won't be using me this time"
"look y/n I never meant to use you. You offered to help me"
"because I really thought you needed it. You also almost kissed me. It made me feel happy and you still crushed it"
"I'm sorry okay! I was angry! She left me and I really did love you and I still do!" I screamed
"w-what"
"I love you"
"M-me too"
I hugged her and we stayed together. We took it slow and dated for about a year and a half. I proposed to her and now we run the business together.
