27: temporary happiness

Yuju's pov

Jungkook brought me to the amusement park.

"So where do we go first?" He asked me. I looked at the rides. Ferriswheel, octopus ride, roller coaster, pirate's ship...i'm scared of heights. I won't dare to ride one.

"Uhmm" i said uncomfortablly. He suddenly laughs. He pulled me near him.

"Are you scared of heights?" He asked with a mishivous smile. I nodded slowly.

"Don't be scared...i'm here with you." He said and tangled his fingers with mine. My cheeks suddenly burned. Damn you kookie, why are you doing this to me?

"Liar." I teased him. I almost believed with what he said tho.

"Yah~, i'm not lying~" he said and playfully hit my arm.

"Nah, i'm hungry" i said as an excuse. He dragged me to the cotton candy stall.

"One cotton candy please?" He said.

"One?" I asked him.

"Yeah, we'll just share" he said. Then the man gave the cotton candy. He ate first.

"Why are you not eating?" He asked.

"Its awkward" i answered.

"Aish! What's awkward with this? Your mind just think it is awkward" he said and lend me the cotton candy. I look at it. I slowly took a bite at it. It's yummy tho. I thumbs up while chewing it.

After eating, we walked toward the rides.

"Let's try the roller coaster" he said. When he said roller coaster, i feel like my blood drained.

"I don't want to" i said. He laughed again.

"Okay then. Let's try the horsey one" he said and dragged me to the merry-go-round. I sat at the horse as he sat at the other horse at my back. When it started to turn. I looked at Jungkook who looks like a kid smiling happily. I laughed at him.

"What are you laughing?" He asked.

"You look like a kid..." i said trying to not laugh.

"You know, i remember J-hope hyung while riding this." He said. We suddenly bursted laughing together.

"You're so mean!" I said to him.

"Really, it makes me remember Hopie hyung" he said and smiled wickedly. He's like a 5-year-old kid muttering horsey~ horsey~ while putting his feet up.

After several turns, the ride stopped. We get off and walked away.

"Where are we going next?" He asked me.

"Why are you asking me. You're the one who brought me here" i said.

"Aish, okay fine. We'll try theeeeee....horror train!" He said. When he said horror train, i feel like my soul escaped from my body. I was frozen for a bit.

"Yah! I'm here by your side. Besides, it's not like were going up in the sky." He said and smirked but I still froze.

"Yah, come on. Let's go" he said and drag me to the station.

He already payed and ride. While I'm still froze and trying to sink in my mind what's happening.

"Yah, sit already. It's going to start" he called, but I didn't obeyed. Then suddenly he grab my hand to sit beside him. He locked his seat belt and also mine because my brain just flewed anywhere and left me blank.

When the i felt the engine was starting, my eyes widened.

"It's starting!" Jungkook squeled like an excited crazy chipmunk. My eyes widened so big like D.O sunbae-nim's....oh, i was just joking 😂.
