I opened my eyes and stared at the light that shone through the window. The dust partials floating through it gave the room an old feeling and I nestled into it, enjoying the show of swirling fluffs of nothing. "You're finally up scale lady," the silence was interrupted and I glared over in reaction. Tskehiko-sama's little sister was staring at me from his bed. I stood up and stretched out as she sat there in her cute little pink and white dress. Her shoes were off and on the floor, revealing socks with holes. "I have a lot to do today so if you would obediently come with me it would be appreciated."
"Don't give me lip," I warned. I didn't want to go on another killing spree.
"Or what, you'll kill me," the little girl hit it on the head. "I'm not so easy to snatch and do away with scale lady."
"Rinryu," I sniffed.
"What?"
"My name is Rinryu, stop calling me scale lady," I muttered.
"But that's what you are," she stated. She jumped down and stared up at me, thinking she was intimidating. "We have a long day scheduled for today and tomorrow so get your slithering hide in gear." I chuckled dryly at her as she put her little black dress shoes on. She acted so serious for such a young little kid.
"Where will we be goin," I asked.
"I have to go to school and you have to follow me. After that we head over to the park and we play for two hours," she said. "Then we come home, make dinner, eat, I do my homework while you do whatever your cold blooded butt does."
"Cold blooded? I'm human though so I'm technically war blooded," I said.
She gave me an exasperated look and shook her head, "brother had to cover you up in a heated blanket. You're pulse was slower than an alligators when it's swimming."
"So, I'm dead, I shouldn't have a pulse to begin with," I sighed.
"You're a lizard," she said slowly. "Now shut up and accept it." I shrugged and stood up. "Hey, do you have any clothes," Maria asked. I stared into her green eyes, comparing them to Takehiko's mentally as I shook my head.
"I thought I did," I sighed.
"You are too oblivious," she cried and stormed over to me. She took my hand and went for the door. "You're lucky you don't look like a person."
"I realize that, but if I did, at least people wouldn't be scared of me and actually just talk," I stated. This earned me a stare from the little green gaze.
"But you talk to children like its normal," she said.
"They don't judge me," I gave a smile and she turned a soft pink. It matched her dress and I let it slip from my lips. How cute was that? She was glaring at me a while ago too, isn't that cute?
"Is that why you killed fifteen of them," she sniffed. I flinched and stopped walking, the thoughts rushing at me.
~She is going to treat you like a monster, get rid of her.~
I shook my head and backed away from Maria.
"Rinryu," she asked.
"Maria, please don't talk about that," I begged quietly.
"Why not," she asked slightly irritated.
"For such a little girl, you can be strange," a woman said. Maria stared at the lady that was in a nun uniform.
"Sister Seras," Maria nodded to her and shifted nervously.
"Who are you talking to," the nun asked, not to kindly.
