RECAP
I was dragged into a lonely and abandoned alley, but the hands of this someone were none of a man's.
She is a she. I've been calming down a few seconds when she was just gently leading me the way. Pulling my arms into her direction and practically hiding her face from me and the shadows are blocking her appearance and so I couldn't see any of her features except for her straight hair dancing at her back.
We raced through the darkest of parts of the alley. We sprinted to the shadows in all sorts of shades, gray and black.
"Ouch!" I scowled when I almost tripped, making the woman turn her head on me.
I internally gasped, taking in more air than usual. She really needs to cover her face from me.
She has white cloth wrapped around her mouth and the bridge of her nose and her beautifully defined stormy gray eyes pop out her pale complexion, and a deadly stare seems to be fixed on me. The darkness surrounding her sums up all my fears
Then she dug her nails on to my flesh and ran faster and faster, dragging my skin with her and nearly leaving my bones and soul behind. Cold wind rushes towards my face, while the eerie vibe increases as we go deeper the alley.
The sound of our steps are the beats my heart follow. The quick we dash the quicker my heart pounds, suffocating my thoughts with panic.
She took a quick glance behind us once more and she sprinted into the shadows, contrasting the buildings' light colors - white, light gray, pink and then beige. Being the dumb and unacknowledged one I followed what she did.
"Shoot," I muttered a bit too plainly. I can't actually see them, but their shadows are just... popping out from the scene. the shadows appeared to be in a semi-brown color than gray and they are showing themselves at light
'Cause well they're shadows.
From my position and state (running for my dear life) I can watch how fast they can go, and the way they accelerate is absolutely creepy because they do it inch by inch.
"Ow," I scowled in pain. Since I was too busy studying the faces of the chasers, my leg broke a fence into a half, leaving my limb red and sore.
this woman saw and felt that I cannot longer keep up with her amazing speed, so she forcefully pulled and secured me into her arms, carrying me with her.
She slightly jumped to tighten her hold of me, So yeah, I feel like a FAT burden to this lady.
Now, I am trusting my life to her, fully giving into this risk. I glanced at her back again to see if we have lost the shadows.
But - - -
"Oh my," and a sharp gasp escaped my lips afterward. It doesn't seem like a problem to the pursuers to keep up with us even if I feel like travelling in light years. They seemed to be just a couple of meters away from us and at that moment I could clearly see their features.
