The weeks past and on the first of October Monique, Valko and I were led down to a large tent while all the other students headed somewhere else.

As we were walking down towards the tent Monique grabbed my hand.

"We have no idea what we have to face, were completely vulnerable!"

As she said this, a vision came to me.

A beautiful mint green woman with long dark green hair and pointy ears was holding a small mirror, admiring herself, but her beautiful green features turned a fiery red and she hissed.

"Mountain Nymph!" I gasped.

"Vat is a mountain Nymph?" Valko asked, over hearing me.

"An elf like creature, they love themselves, especially their looks." I explained.

"So what do we have to do?" Monique asked.

"I’m not sure exactly, something to do with a mirror." I said, thinking.

"'Ow do you know zis?" Valko asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Oh, I erm over heard the professors talking about it." I lied. Valko nodded and faced forward as we came to the entrance of the tent. Monique on the other hand gave me a suspicious look.

Once inside the tent all three head masters came over and put their arms over their students’ shoulders and brought them to the middle of the tent room where a man from the ministry was standing, he would be standing as the fourth judge.

"Hello students I am Mr Carver, head of the magical games and tournaments department, for your first task you will be facing a very dangerous creature, it will test your magical knowledge, mountain Nymphs!" He said, he had a slight Irish accent.

Valko scoffed.

"Nymphs are no match for me!" He said confidently.

"Well that is good Mr Dimitrov, because you are first."

Mr Carver led Valko over to the other tent exit was, where loud cheers were coming from, the students must be in stands outside.

After five minutes of silence a loud screeching noise erupted.

"What is that?" Monique shouted, clutching her ears.

"A warning. Valko got too close." I said, holding my hands over my ears too.

After ten minutes of loud screeching and Valko firing spells, the stands erupted into applause, which meant Valko had completed the task.

He didn’t come back into the tent but Mr Carver came in and took Monique out of the tent.

The screeching came quicker this time, and Monique shouted spell after spell, and after fifteen minutes there was more applause.

My nerves kicked in, I had read about Mountain Nymphs, they were dangerous creatures that can easily kill you.

Mr Carver came in.

"Your turn Miss Day."

I walked to the tent exit and looked out, it was like a small forest, beautiful trees were scattered, and all the students were sitting in high stands that over looked it all.

I stepped into the forest and looked around, there was no sign of the Nymph, but with all this green it probably blended in.

I stepped further, wand at the ready, and as I came close to large moss covered tree a loud terrible screeching erupted.
