Nalu - A Demons Game

Mother..

Later that week natsu and I had been spending a lot of time with each other, mostly as friends. Which I'm sure he wants more then that, and I wouldn't mind it so much only that I have other things on my mind at the moment.

"I hope your mother is okay" natsu said.
I got a call earlier that day that my mother is sick and that she went to the hospital. I packed some of my things and was headed off to my hometown, natsu didn't like the idea of me going alone so he tagged along.

I looked outside of the hospital window, waiting for the doctors to come out. I sighed impatiently and sat next to natsu.

"It will be okay, i promise it will" Natsu whispered to me. I looked over to him shedding a tear, i shook my head

"..It wont.." I sniffed"She has been feeling unwell, i just shook it off as her going through withdrawals.."

"Withdrawals..?"

I took a deep breath " My life as a child wasnt a simple one, it was hardly called a life. My father was the only one who worked in our house, even though he worked he came home drunk most of the time.." i looked away"My mother was responsible most of the time, and she always looked after me. One day my father came home, she hid me in the closet..." i paused

"..I could hear the sounds of her in pain.." my face was getting hot, feeling my tears stream down my cheeks "-I didnt know what to do..so i just waited until the sun had came up. I opened the door and went into her bedroom..She was wearing nothing, the only thing that stood out was all of the blood on her arms..all those needles-Oh my god.." i covered my mouth

"She-She was trying to tell me all these years-" I choked out "She wasnt feeling good and-oh my god, i just ig-"

Then natsu pulled me into his chest taking me by surprise

"Shh, dont hold it in anymore Lucy.." Natsu said softly. I cried into his shirt until i couldnt cry anymore.

"Lucy.."

"Lucy.." I slowly opened my eyes

"The doctor says we can go in and see your mother" said natsu. My eyes shot open, i got up fast and dashed to my mothers room, natsu wasnt far behind me. I entered the room and see my mom on the bed, tears started coming out.

"Lucy my dear.." mother said quietly as she held out her hand.

"Mom.."i grabbed her hand tightly and hugged her. Natsu must have left to give us a moment. I looked at her,

"Mom..Im..Im so sorry, i should have-"

"Shh lucy..Everything will be okay" She said trying to sit up

"And what if its not? This is all my fault, i should have never left you!"

"Hush now dear. This is that man's fault" My father..

"Its okay, hes gone now.."He's in jail. My mom caressed my cheek wiping away my tears. I knew she protected me from being molested by him..

"It okay though my dear, I did this to protect you. Your my baby girl, i love you lucy"

"Mom dont talk that way..We'll find a way to get you better. Ill find a way..I promise" I sniffed.

"Excuse me miss heartfilla, But your mother needs rest now" the doctor said, i nodded and gave her a hug

"Ill be back mom, ill bring you something to eat soon." I smiled at her, she nodded at gave me a sweet small smile.

I gathered myself up and left the room. I started walking down the hallways

"You okay?" Natsu spoke, My heart jumped a little since he startled me

"Y-yeah, Im more worried about my mom though" he stopped in his track
"Do you mind if I go and see her?" He looked at me
"Um..sure, any reason?"
"I'd like to meet my future mother in law" I scoffed at him
"Sure sure, if only dreams became reality. I'll be in the cafeteria" I said while walking away.

I bought a banana and sat in the corner looking out of the window.
"There's no good food here" I whined while biting in into the fruit
"Then let me take you out" I looked over to the person who spoke
"I don't know you sorry" i spit out.

The man had spikey hair similar to Natsu's except this guys was blond.
"My name is Sting" he said as sat next to me. I bit into the banana
"Hello I'm-" then I noticed he was looking at the way I was eating. ugh what a perv.
"Well I have to leave" I said and got up

He grabbed ahold of my arm, I tried taking it back but it wouldn't budge

"Let. Me. Go" I snapped
"Come on girly" he pulled me close to his face" you want me" he looked at my lips. My mind automatically went to dan, as he pulled this stunt on me countless times. I snapped back into reality seeing as the man was about to kiss me. I looked into his eyes and punched his face, he then let me go.

"Fucking dickhead, next time when a women is giving you a hint to leave her alone, You leave her alone. " as I was about to walk away I stuff the banana in his face. I looked up and saw natsu

"Damn, badass Lucy here! Remind me not to make you mad" he said as he followed me. We left the hospital and went to the hotel that natsu insisted staying at. He purposely booked a room with one bed. As we got into the room i took off my shoes and sat on the small couch near the window. More tears started falling down

"Lucy, why are you crying?" Natsu spoke, i turn to look at him but instead i see a six pack in front of my face. What the hell!? My face is super hot now!

"I-i-i-uh- t-n-natsu! Put on a shirt!!" I closed my eyes and ran to the bathroom locking the door behind me. I looked in the mirror and noticed that there was blood streaming down from my nose

"SHIT" I stuff some toilet paper up my nostril. I took a deep breath and opened the door

"Hey lucy do these shorts make my butt look big? " I look down at his waist and noticed he was wearing MY shorts

"Natsu!! What are you doing?"

"Me? You have toilet paper in your nose!" He then laughed at me

I huffed at him and ripped out the paper. I crossed my arms and sat on the bed pouting.

"Aw Lucy you look adorable" he said chuckling
"Wa-What?" I blushed. "I-I'm going out!!" I slipped on my boots and put on a oversized sweater and left with my phone and wallet. Stupid natsu, totally teasing me. I can't deny he is really cute, and he freaking knows he's good looking. I left the hotel and started walking down the street
