I wake up in a hospital bed with my friends everywhere in the room. It felt like I was out for just a second, but I knew exactly where I was.

I try to raise up, but this Sharp pain shoots through my head. All of my friends jump and and rush to me . Including Hunter.

"Ow guys why does my head hurt?" I asked.

"Because this idiot here accidentally punched you while you were trying to break him and Brandon up." Dylan explained while pointing at Hunter.

Hunter just growls at him...

"That's weird" I think to myself.

"We tried to not let him come in but he wasn't having it. He was so hurt and heartbroken. It was like he thought you were dying" Jackson said.

"We actually feel kinda bad for the guy." Brenden said.

"Guys can you go get the nurse and let them know I'm up and fine, and give me and Hunter some private time right quick?" I pleaded to them.

"Sure. We'll go get lunch and be right back!" Jackson said.

"I love you bro!" Brandon said.

"I love you too Bee" I said as they closed the door.

"So why did you stay?" I asked Hunter.

"If I tell you , you wouldn't believe me." Hunter said grabbing a chair and pulling it over by my side.

"I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be that bad" I said .

"Look, just don't scream , yell, pass out or most importantly leave me okay?" He explained.

"I gotcha! Now tell me!" I said playfully punching his arm.

"Well , I'm a Vampire" He said so bluntly.

"Really?" I said sitting up. "What kind are you? Or like what rank?" I said.

"I'm the leader's son. I'm next in line to be Leader. My mom was a vampire and my dad is one also" Hunter explained.

"Well that's really cool! But what do you mean your mom WAS a vampire?" I asked curiously.

"Well she was killed in an attack on our house when I was like 10." He said.

"Oh I'm really sorry.." I said sincerely.

"Nah, it's okay. Technically. My dad's father was the Alpha king at the time, but when he stepped down my mom and dad stepped up, and ruled for centuries. They had me and my sister,Hannah, and everyone was happy and everything was doing great until one night (flashback starts) when my mom was nine months pregnant with my brother ,Bryce, these vampires from the moonlight pack came in the middle of the night. My dad hid me and my sister in the basement. (Hunter's POV)

"Dad what's happening ?"

"We are under attack, someone is in the house right now. If me and your mother don't comeback for you two , run for help out of the back window. You got it ?" He explained.

I nodded my head.

"We love you guys" he said while hugging us.

He turned around and ran out , and all we could heard for about 10 minutes were growls and scratches and yelps until we heard this loud high-pitched scream that sounded exactly like my mothers.

We screamed her name and I guess one of the vampires heard us , so he charged at us. But all we could do was run and we just threw ourselves out of the window.

We were cut up pretty bad, but that didn't matter , we needed help. All me and my sister could do was sob and run for what felt like ages until we got to our grandparents house.
