"Jealousy?"

Landon's POV

I got out of the shower and I heard my phone vibrate. It's a text from Lucas and it says:

From: Lucas :/
"Hey, don't worry about driving to school
Today. I will pick you up ;).
What's your address ??"
This is strange, but it shocked me because I haven't heard from him since the party. I didn't really wanna make it awkward, so I texted my address and sat my phone back down to finish getting ready.

10 minutes later

I heard a car horn outside, so I run down the stairs and before I walked out the door i made sure to kiss my 3 little brothers on their cheeks, told them to have a good day, and that i love them.

I walked out the door and spotted a 2007 GMC Tahoe.

"Hey" Lucas said as I got into the huge truck.

"Hey" I said back. Not knowing what else to say.

"You look good" He said as we made out way to school.

"Aw thank you. You don't look to bad yourself" I said trying not to make it awkward.

After a short but comfortable silence I said:

"How are you? We haven't talked since the party about a month and a half ago"

"Yeah I know. After that rude run in you had with my ex, I didn't want to embarrass myself even more." He explained as we pulled into the parking lot.

He got out before me and I was kinda shocked to see him walk to my side and open the door for me.

"Aw , you didn't have to do that Lucas. I'm not a girl" I said laughing.

"I know, but a cutie like you deserves it." He said as we walk into the school.

I couldn't do anything but smile and blush.

"So, see you at lunch yeah ?" He asks with a hopeful look.

"Yeah, see ya then" I said. I did the unthinkable. I leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

That seemed to take him by surprise, but all I do is turn and make my way to my first period class. Which is the demon subject we call "Chemistry" . Great.

The bell rings and it is now lunch time. All through my first and second period classes I couldn't stop thinking about Lucas, and that kinda surprised me.

I walked into the cafeteria and grabbed my lunch, and I spot the usual gang at our table.

Brandon and Dylan are beside each other, and now that I think about it Brandon has been spending slot of time with Dylan. Such as, spending the nights at his house or him spending the night at our house. I wonder what's going on between them.

I spotted a seat in between Lucas and Jackson and I'm guessing it's for me so I sit down.

"Hey guys" I says giving them a huge grin.

A wave of "Hey's" and "HI's" and smiles were all returned to me. Everyone returns back to their conversations, and I engage into one with Lucas.
