Girly Cookie

*5 weeks later*
Laurance's POV
Cookie has been nothing but stubborn recently. The doctor had said after ten weeks the puking should get easier but I guess Cookie decided that it wasnt done aggravating me. Good think we can finally find out Cookie's gender today. I'm tired of not being able to name Cookie besides it's nickname. I just want to know whether or not Cookie's gender fits our guess.

"Hey Laurance! How's Cookie?" Aphmau said. I turn to see her running in.
"Cookie's great. Stubborn, but great." her laugh erupts into the silence.
"That's funny." she says as I make the gesture for her to feel Cookie's movements.
"Really?" she asks and I nod. She puts her hand on my ever growing bump and she smiles.
"Cookie's a real mover." she says. I nod and hug Aphmau.
"I'll tell you when we get back what Cookie's been hiding from us." she nods and waves goodbye. I feel arms wrap around me gently.
"Garroth," I start. He kisses me cheek and I nuzzle my head on his shoulder.
"You ready babe?" he asks. I nod and I walk out the door before Garroth could pick me up. He chases after me and I giggle
"You can't catch a pregnant man Garroth?" I taunt. He looks at me with playful eyes and runs. I run again but eventually Garroth caught me.
"NO! I'VE BEEN CAPTURED!" I yell silly.
"The quest has been completed." Garroth says in a Irish accent.
"Stop!" I laugh.
"Nah. I'd rather hold you." he says before bringing me back over to the car. I pout a lip and Garroth bends down and kisses me, making my lip go back into my mouth. I roll my eyes and shut the door once he breaks away. He climbs in and turns the key. A song comes on the radio that I haven't heard in forever. I turn up the knob and I smile and put one hand on Garroth's free one and the other on Cookie.

I look over to Garroth who was fighting a tear.
"Garroth.... Are you... Crying?" I ask. He nods and smiles.
"Its a beautiful song." he says, clearly fighting back a sniffle. I reach over and kiss him, careful of Cookie. I sit back as he pulls into the hospital parking lot.
"Garroth.... I can tell Cookie's a girl." I say. He smiles.
"Well we still want to make sure don't we?" he says with a grin. I smile and he parks the car.

"Ok so here we have your baby's head." The nurse explained. I smile as I see Cookie play with its toes.
"Well I know you came here for the gender so are you sure you want to know?" she asks. Me and Garroth nod. She smiles and turns her attention back to the screen.
"And it looks like.... It's a girl! Congratulations!" she says. I start to tear up. I look to Garroth
"Did you hear that? C-Cookie's a girl." he nodded with his own happy tears in his eyes and kissed me. I break away and Garroth wipes the tears away. I look back to the nurse
"Other than the exciting stuff.... You should be out of your 1st trimester in a few days which means most likely no more morning sickness-" I interrupt and say
"THANK IRENE!" I say and Garroth bursts into laughter.
"Yes but your next appointment is in 6 weeks so take it easy." I nod and Garroth helps me up.  

"Garroth we need to find a name. Besides Cookie of course." I say as we walk to the car. 

"Well we can search for some when we get home." He says as he opens the passenger side door for me. I nod my head and smile. I look to my rounded bump and I know it's My Baby Girl
