A Brighter Future

"All wars have come to an end."

I dream of the time it can truly be said.

We'll get there someday, that, I know.

For a world of peace, we can't lose hope.

This life, this world, it is never our own.

All this effort is for our children.

A future filled with prosperity and peace,

Should be every older generation's promise.

The steps for peace starts with the family,

Nothing will be lost if we teach our kids early.

The virtues of love, patience and respect for life,

Imbibe in them honesty, kindness and the value of time.

It maybe late for us, but for them, not yet,

Steps taken today will have drastic effects.

So it's up to us, it's for us to ensure,

That our kids will have a peaceful, brighter future.
