"And in other news, a sparkling was stolen the second it was born!" A mech on the broadcasted news said. "That's right folks, the kidnapper killed the carrier and ran off with the child, the sire is standing by waiting for any sign of his sparkling" the radio was cut off. "That's enough of that" the mech that had taken me said.

"Don't want you getting any ideas of running do we?" He asked almost in a babyish voice. "Stop talking to the kid" another voice said. It was from a comm link but I could hear another cybertronian driving close. "What? I'm just trying to make it stop crying" he groaned as my wails faded out everything else they said.

I laid there wanting to be in my carrier's arms again. I didn't understand why I couldn't feel her but I could slightly feel my sire.

Hold on

A voice in my helm said.

I'll find you

I was confused but the voice was soothing.

I'll find you. I don't care how long it takes but I'll find you.

A wonderful feeling was sent to my spark. I felt calm. I still whimpered but I stopped crying.

It's okay buddy, I'll be right there

The voice said again. I started giggling. I still couldn't open my optics but I could sense motion.

I rolled over and curled into a ball as the feeling was still being sent to my spark.

I'll find you.

Was the last thing I heard before going into recharge.

-years later-

"Okay can you say 'arrow'?" Arrow asked me. I stood silent and stared at him blankly. "He's still not speaking idiot" QuarterRest said smacking the helm of arrow. I had been silent my entire life...well...for six years. Arrow as QuarterRest were confused but try figured it was because they never taught me.

"The boss is still not gonna be happy" arrow said as he placed me back on the ground. I walked off back into the prison I was suppose to call home. I grabbed a datapad and kept reading a book.

"He refuses to speak but he can read!?" QuarterRest growled. I ignored their bickering and kept reading.

I had been waiting for that voice that I heard back when I was a sparkling. I wanted to feel safe again. I tried contacting it myself but there was no luck.

No response.

"Hey you!" Arrow yelled. I turned my helm to face him and stared blankly again. "Can't you understand me!?" He asked. I tilted my helm and he sighed.

"We'll have better luck in a few cycles" he said.

"That's what you said last time you idiot" growled QuarterRest.

This had been my life for six years..

And I was going to escape it.
