Getting Closer (Chapter 8)

(HARRY'S POV)

Its been a week since Katie broke-up with me and i couldn't help but fell there's a hole were my hear used to be. since Katie and i broke up i have gotten a lot closer to Destiny, but i keep feeling like the minute i try to get closer to her she shuts me out. All i want is my best friend back we used to do everything together.

'' so guys what do you want to do today'' i asked Chelsea and Destiny

'' well i don't know about you guys but im going out with Mark ''  when Chelsea said that i was not shocked one bit i just wanted Mark to be happy and with Chelsea i think he is

'' wow thats fantastic, what about you Destiny do you wanna grab a burger or something'' i asked her hoping she would say yes.

'' uhh, sure i guess i have nothing better to do anyways'' yes she said yes now i can finally explain everything to her.

when Destiny and i entered the burger palace, we used to go there almost every single day until i moved. 

'' so, how is everything'' i asked her nervous i have been back 3 weeks and this is the first time Destiny and i have been alone

'' everything is great, i just really miss school though, but were going back in a couple of weeks''.

'' oh that's great, i miss school too'' i said it was really awkward. just when i thought i couldn't get any worse someone i never thought would have shown up.

(DESTINY'S POV)

When Harry asked me to hang out i was every unsure about the whole thing but i was hoping to clear everything up with him, and with his girlfriend out of the picture maybe we could be friends again just like old times. Then someone came, someone i thought i already dealt with.

''Billy what are you doing here?'' i asked in complete shock

'' well i was just here with my friend'' he pointed at this girl sitting down at the table

'' wow she looks really nice'' i said try not to scream. there he was with another girl rubbing it in my face.

'' Harry right, its good seeing you again mate'' he said about to walk away.

'' that was a little awkward'' harry said

'' yeah im sorry about that i ddint know he was there'' 

'' that's fine I'm not even mad'' Harry said, then before i knew it Billy came back with his lady friend 

'' hey im back'' billy said putting his arm around the girl. to be honest she looked quite familiar 

'' i can see that'' i said sarcastically. i was so mad why did he even come back i just hoped Harry wouldn't get jealous.

'' so anyways can we help you guys'' harry said while giving me reasuring look.

'' well i just wanted to introduce you to my girlfriend'' billy said emphasizing the girl friend part

''oh well hi, have we met before you look really familiar'' i asked staring at her

'' um maybe you look quite familiar as well'' she said. then it hit me i knew who she was she was one of the girls Harry hung out with her name was Suzie, he used to ditch me for her. I was interrupted by Harry.

'' i remember you, your Suzie correct'' Harry asked giving her a hug. Again i was never a fan of her she never really liked whenever i was with Harry she would always try to leave me out, but Harry being the nicest guy in the world always tried to include me, but i got fed up of always trying to catch up with him.

'' oh yeah i remember now so how did you and Billy meet'' i asked 

'' well i was at the mall and then i saw Billy crying-'' i interrupted her 

'' wait wait when did you meet Billy at the mall'' i asked suddenly getting a little interested in the conversation.

'' umm a weeks ago, lets say March 12 ( it was now March 22) when i asked whats wrong and we just started to hang out alot and before you knew it we were dating, we started dating  4 days after we met'' i was filled with anger, he dated her while we were still dating, who does he think he is. Tears started to roll down my face. 

'' you dated each other when we were dating, you pig'' i said practically yelling, at this point i was standing up getting ready to leave

'' Calm down Destiny i only dated her cause i knew our relationship was gonna end anyways'' he said equally yelling 

'' i knew that but we didn't officially broken up you cheated on me Billy'' i said a little quiter trying not to let out the tears that were threatening to come out

'' oh please like you never thought about Harry over here while we were dating wishing you dated him instead of me'' he said a lot louder i took a step back afraid of what he was going to do. it was true even Harry wasn't there i still thought of him almost everyday, there wasn't a day that e i wished he was the one i could call my boyfriend.

'' Billy how could you say that Harry wasn't even here when we started to date'' i said before i stormed out of the burger palace, then someone grabbed my hand, i turned around to see Harry look into my eyes, i could just look at those emerald green eyes everyday. 

'' Destiny are you ok'' Harry ask as he broke his eyes away from mine. i was not truned  back into reality. and for some apparent reason i took my anger out on Harry.

'' why do you care why don't you just go back to Suzie'' i said 

 '' who said i cared about Suzie'' he asked stepping closer to me, i quickly to a step away from him.

''well isn't it obvious before you left for London all you would do is hang out with her'' i said 

'' well that's only because you we shutting me out of your life'' he said, he looked like he was about to cry, i felt bad but i didn't want him to know that i don't want him to think that he still has control over me.

'' you know what Harry i dont want to fight with you anymore, just drop it'' i said while turning around, for the frist time since Harry arrived i thought that just maybe we could be friends again.

'' ya i would like that can we just act like i never left and we were best friends again'' he asked while walking up beside me. to be honest i would love to be friends again with Harry but i just dont want to fall bakc in love with him. 

(HARRYS POV)

'' can we just act like i never left and be friends again'' i asked Destiny, i hope she says yes i just want to be best friends again and maybe just maybe she will fall in love with me, because when we saw Billy i couldn't help but feel jealous and when she got mad ar me for hugging Suzie i never new she was Jealous when i would hang out with girls.

'' fine lets do that'' she siad as we started to walk home, there was a scilence between us but it didint feel wierd because for the first time since i came back i felt like i had my best friend back and i plan on keeping her.
