*Aiyana's POV*

I looked around and stared at my new house. I inhaled a shaky breath and let it out again. I simply scratched my neck as I got the key. I held it up in front of my face, and it seemed like a normal boring key. I walked up and unlocked the door. I opened it and peeked inside. The first sight that met me was the hallway. It wasn't big, but big enough for me.

My name is Aiyana Farkas. I've lived alone for 1 year, and I'm now 16. I've lived outside California, but the quietness was way too intese where I previously lived. From time to time I would either prefer loud noises or peaceful silence. I moved to Beacon in hope to get a good start here.
I bought a small house inside the city with the rest of the money I had. I've decided to take my school year here because all I've heard is positive things.

-"Well, it seems like they fixed everything," I said and stepped inside. I laid my backpack on the floor and I sat my shoes beside it. I stepped into the living room, and it was small but cute.
-"I should get a nice sleep before school tomorrow," I mumbled for myself. But I can't let poor Baron stay in the car the whole night, especially after this long drive.
I stepped outside again and walked up to my car. It was a 1973 Ford Torino. Old stuff, but the best I'll have... It was my fathers car, but since he passed away I took it. I was supposed to get it for my 16th birthday anyway.

I walked behind the car and opened the trunk. A happy face met me and Baron literally jumped out over me as he got out of the car.
-"Yeah, yeah! Go ahead Baron, take a fast look around in our garden!" I said and pointed a finger to the path that led behind my new house. Baron wasted no seconds and ran off into the darkness. Baron is an Australian Shepherd. I got him when I was 14, so he's 2 years old. As of now, he's my best friend and always will be too.

-"Hey, you piece of shit dog!" A voice yelled pretty loud. I looked over to the neighbor, and he literally came running after Baron.
-"Hey! What's your problem?!" I shouted madly towards the man. My eyes drifted down to his suit, then his badge.
-"Oh, you're that new girl! I'm so sorry for scaring you and your dog like that, but you'll need to keep him in his leash all the time! I know you're not used to these rules yet, but please," The man with a Sheriff-star said and pointed towards Baron.
-"Oh yes, I'm so sorry. Excuse me, but what's your name?" I asked and grabbed Baron's leash from the car trunk as well.

I shut it and walked closer towards the Sheriff.
-"I'm Noah Stilinski, but mostly known as Sheriff Stilinski. You see, I am just trying to keep this town safe, for both humans and animals," Stilinski said and looked around on my neighbors houses.
-"I understand you, Sheriff. Baron, go inside to the bathroom, wherever that might be," I mumbled and crossed my arms.
-"You're moving in here alone? Where's your parents? And I know this house pretty good, so let me show you around," Stilinski offered and walked up to the front door.
-"Thank you very much, but I don't wanna bother you or anything," I replied and gave the man a smile.
-"You're not bothering at all," Stilinski replied.

I followed Stilinski into the living room, and he seemed impressed for a second.
-"Have you already unpacked? I thought you just arrived here," The big Sheriff stated and looked down at me. I'm not that tall either, so it's okay.
-"I did just arrive. You see, I got someone else to unpack for me, before I came. They didn't take much for it either, some hundred dollars," I explained and looked around.
-"Some hundrer dollars? That is very expensive. Where do you get so much money from?" Stilinski asked and seemed a little curious.
-"I inherited it all. You see, my 'father' died of cancer not that long ago. He was a rich man, and he met a lot of troubles both before and after I came into his life," I said and smiled.

-"I understand. I'm sorry for your loss. Should i keep on, or do you want to figure out everything yourself?" Stilinski asked and pointed towards the stairs.
-"If it doesn't bother you, then I would be glad if you keep on," I replied and gave him a smile.
-"You're very nice. Wish my son could be like that," The Sheriff mumbled and scratched his neck.
-"You have a son? That's cool. What is his name and age?" I asked as we started walking up the stairs.
-"His name is Stiles and he is your age. Honestly that boy is so much to take care of, but I manage," Stilinski said and chuckled a little nervously.
