Gnomes and dwarfs were alike. The only real difference between them is the fact that dwarfs are more warlike. Gnomes were peaceful and knew of prophecies, they were quite wise.

The dwarfs had realized that the giants were awakening. They hunted at Giant Bank after all. Once they realized, they immediately told Ruben. The eldest gnome, Ruben, knew about the tale and the fact that giants could only be defeated when all the mythical creatures worked together. Once he found that the giants were coming out of their sleep, he gathered everyone into a crowd.
He informed them about the tale and how to defeat the horrifying monsters. "...I know where they are. But it'll be hard to find 'em all." explained Ruben. Ruben was in the midst telling everyone about how to defeat the giants. "We just got to have some part when defeating those giants. Whether or action we do to beat em' is big or small, it don't matter. 'Long as we do something. I'm thinking our dwarfs here can beat 'em bloody enough. Us gnomes will do some sort of trick. Those fairies can put some spells or somethin' on 'em. Nymphs, they can do the same. Mermaids and mermen, eh... Not sure what they can do, in the ocean and all..." Every dwarf and gnome listened as Ruben discussed the improvised and changing plans.
"Go! Find 'em other mythical creatures. I've already assigned the assembly group. Go! We've got no time to waste. The giants are arising. We must take action." The dwarf assembly group moved out of the crowd. They scattered out to search. The gnomes and dwarfs knew what they were facing. They knew what to do. They had to find the others. They had to start their actions, every mythical creature did if they want to survive.
Sorry about the delay on this chapter. There will be many more delays... Sorry. I'm just not into this writing gig that much, but I do want to continue writing this book.
