I lied on a cozy rubicund- colored sofa that was the perfect height for me. I was in an office, but not any office, my therapists' Dr. Lalonde's office. She has called me in here for private evaluation, which was another way of checking on me to see if I have gotten more insane.

"John, why have you not told me about your abnormal dreams?" She asked with her pen laying on her notepad with one leg crossed over the leg, watching me intensively with a calm black-lipstick smile. I was hesitant to respond and tried to wash away what she asked. I do that sometimes.

"John, I will ask you one more time-"

"It was just my personal thoughts that I wasn't OK with showing," I muttered, looking over at her with an ashamed smile. Dr. Lalonde pursed her lips together and wrote a mini note in her notebook.

"I understand your struggle to keep unsaid feelings but you are required to share them with me. I will not tell anyone. I will be like, a friend of some sort," She said harmoniously with each word coming out like honey. Her voice was so angelic that it was hard for me to ever become mad at her. I sat up on the chair and looked directly back at her.

"If you were really my friend, you would really help me," I said with a disheartened glare at her that made her face loosen up. She sensed my despondent features and keep her mouth shut for a while, observing my face.

A few minutes passed by and she cleared her throat to speak. "I believe we have been having a few trust issues and I would love to help. First off, you may call me Rose. I do not want you to ever feel uncomfortable telling me things, that is what I am here for. Perhaps, if I offer a proposal, maybe you will consider it?" Rose asked with eye brows raised in question.

 "What is it?"

"If you tell me certain dreams or visions you've been having on a daily and current basis and you do not want me to share them, I will respect your authority and not tell the other doctors," She proclaimed clearly and softly with a polite smile.

"But you would lose your job!" I exclaimed with widen eyes at her. doubtful.

"That may occur, but I will dealt with it. As long as I, myself, get to keep a close eye on you, not just as a doctor but as a companion, it does not matter the consequences of my actions with cause."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Was she really going to risk her career for me? I have only been assigned to her for not too long and she is trying to bargain with me this quickly? I could not really tell if she meant it or did not. But I would go along with it anyway.
