"Nepeta purrciously is on the prowl. She hides behind a bush, ready to pounce at the small prey in front of her. The prey resembles as a small, lonely deer. It's furrr is a golden brown and it does not suspect any guests around it. Nepeta slowly inches away from the bush and comes closely behind the solemn deer. As she comes closer, the deer becomes aware and before the deer has a chance to scurry, she pounces on the back of-"

"NATALIE LEIJON," A hoarse voice screeches from a room, making me drop my ink pen and leaving a scrap of black ink across the paper. I looked up from the chair I was sitting in and there stood, a very large and muscular man who has rectangular black glasses that hid his eyes and motioned for me to stand up.

Too scared to speak, I stood up and followed after him. "You are going to be interviewed in front of a few doctors. Do not be worried, they look very intimidating but I promise it will not be so bad," The bulky man reassured looking down at me in sympathy. I was very young and always was alert of what I was doing. But this really caught me off guard.

The man opened the heavy-duty door for me and I entered with a small grin and took a seat in front of a mahogany desk. My curly hair stopped at my shoulders, barely touching, and I had a worn-out old jacket that reeked of a animal stench. I wasn't in the best state to be around other people, I wasn't use to the attention. My parents abandoned me in a hollow log cabin in the woods that made me fend for myself. A hunter soon found me and threatened to kill me and whoever was in the cabin with me. Luckily for me, I had a trusty cat friend that scratched his eyes out.

The cops intervened and things got messy. That is the main reason how I got stuck in a crummy old asylum and in a office where they wrench me out of my sanity and memories. The old women had a name tag that read, "Dolorosa Maryam."

"Is your real name Natalie Leijon?" The slim and bony women asked me, with strands of her old white hair tied tightly in a bun and looking sharply at me, as if she was ready to pounce on me. I nodded with a worried expression on my face.

"Did you have any siblings that lived along side with you while your parents abandoned you?"

"I had my cat. She was my trusty partner in crime," I grinned a wide smile and my cheeks glowed in content. The man that guided me in the room was standing against the door, smiling at my response.

"That is invalid. Pets do not count as siblings, be a little more brighter than that sweetie," She retorted, shooting down my response and my feelings. The man looked over at me with a apologetic smile. He seemed to have taken a liking to me, it seemed.

"Is there anyway we can contact your parents or any other relatives?" She asks sighing in frustration with me.

"Mrs. Maryam, she is just a child. She does not know much of her parents whereabouts or contact information," The man stated with a serious face. Dolorosa glared at him and made a gesture to tell him to not get in this.

"He is furry right, I do not.." I trailed off looking down at my small feet. The women huffed and soon dismissed me back to the waiting room.

The husky man took me back out in the waiting room, but did not leave right away.

"Do not feel sad about these terrible consequences you must face. You are a very frail young girl and I promise I will protect you from anything bad in this asylum," He spoke softly and squeezed my hand lightly, making a few of the muscles in my hand crack.

I nodded and smiled at him, hugging him before leaving. Something about that guy was very familiar. I just couldn't put my paw on it. He will be one of the new characters in my story! Even though I do not know his name quite yet, his name shall be...Equius!
