You woke up abruptly, sweat dripped from your nose, another nightmare occurred. What had always surprised you is that even though some nights you would wake up screaming and crying you could never remember what bothered your sleep. Tonight was the first night in weeks that you hadn't screamed nor cried out for help.

You sighed and sat up, your h/l (hair length), h/c (hair color) fell into your pale face. Brushing the tangled mess of frizz from your face, you do your best to get up without waking your room mates. Your team name was ATAS . For some odd reason your team members decided to nick name you 'Atlas'. Your team consisted of Crimson, Amethyst, Quinn, and you. They even decided to name the team after you, deciding you were the leader.

You quietly shuffled to the two bathrooms that you all shared, going into one you took a look in the mirror. You didn't look healthy, or near sane, and anyone in a three mile radis could see that you haven't been able to get a good nights sleep in months. Even Yang and Ruby made comments about the dark circles that covered the bottom of you E/c eyes. You take a deep breath and slowly wash your face. Splashing the warm water on to your pale cheeks made you feel.. alive and not to mention it put back some missing and much needed color into your cheeks. Your pale lips thinned out as you smiled a bit, it was Thursday. Shuffling over to the cabinet you pull a fluffy blue towel and press it gently against your face, wiping the left over water from yourself.

Slowly, you walk back from the bathroom to your bed. The heat was still resginating between the few blankets you had on it. your e/c eyes glance to the alarm clock resting apon your nightstand, 6:37 A.M.. You groan a bit, but decided it wasn't worth to fall asleep again.. Your hands feel around for your headphones.. it takes a few minutes before you stumble apon the thin white cord that connected the buds. Carefully lifting the wire you plug it into your phone, turning on music you usually get ready to. Flipping on a small lamp near your side of the large room, you start to get ready for the long awaited day.

Residing back into the bathroom, you start to slip off your P.js and slip on the white blouse and tights. Then slipping into the rest of the uniform. Brushing your hair to the side, you continue and do a winged eyeliner look. Nobody expected you to be a fanus, a wolf fanus at that. well, except your team, of course they had to know. You knew how most fanus were treated, that's why they went to the white fang. You yourself had even thought about it, but decided against it. Being a huntress had been your dream since you were a little girl, you weren't going to miss your only shot at it. By the time you were done, your team had started to wake up... well most of them. Quinn.. was having a hard time. You suspected Nora had kept him up again. Letting out a small chuckle, you went to wake him by shaking him gently.

"Come on Quinn, you need to get up for school.." You talked gently to him, knowing Quinn he is NEVER a morning person, and you can see why. Mornings suck. You gained a groan from Quinn and a little something like him telling you to go away.

"Quinn, come on you've missed enough school, don't make me get Nora to wake you up." You let out a laugh when he shot straight up basically begging you not to.

Everyone was up now and on their way to school, Beacon. This was your home, and you looked forward to coming to it everyday. Your friends, your family were all here..

Ozpin had taken you in after your parents passing, you took it rather hard... you still were and it had been 5 years since. This was your second year at beacon.

"Hey, you guys go ahead, I've gotta talk to Ozpin real fast." Waving off your friends, they hurry on without you. This had become an everyday thing for you, going to visit Ozpin. He was practically your father, although he hadn't adopted you, the two of you were rather close. Entering the building you swipe you card in the elevator, it takes you up towards Ozpin's office. Putting on a soft smile, the doors open revealing two men. One you had never seen, and Ozpin. Standing there for a second, you realize you interrupted something. Anxiety numbed your legs turning them into lead, you end up stuttering out an apology.

".. So- Sorry Ozpin.. I didn't realize you ha- had a guest.. Um.. I uh.. I'll just come back later?"

The unknown man glared at you with what seemed to be a burning passion, sneering, it seemed he wanted to make a comment.

"Qrow, its rude to stare." Winter strutted in behind you, her hand found your waist, right above your tail.

"Hello, Y/n. It's nice to see you again, how have you been doing?" Her icy eyes warmed towards you.

"Ah.. I'm alright I guess.. and you?" your eyes drifted back to the man now known as 'Qrow', he was still staring... Your face gave off a soft pink glow.

"Good..QROW," Her voice raised quickly. "I told you not to stare at her."

A/n

Hey guys! so I hope the first chapter was good enough. I don't see many QrowxReaders on here, so here you go lol.

I don't know Qrow's age exactly, but here im gonna say hes around his early 20's. I'll mention it in a chapter later on, but this is kinda a secret relationship thing. Because, you, the reader is in high school, on her second year. meaning your just turning 17. so.. its an illegal relationship. Just getting that out there.
