Falling in Love with a Crow? (Qrow x Reader)

Chapter 4 - White Fang

Qrow set you back down once you had arrived at the destination you never wanted to be. You wondered why the White Fang was so open about were some of their people were, Beacon always knew where the students were on a mission or not. Speaking of Beacon, as soon as Qrow put you down, your phone started to ring.

You sighed before picking it up, Qrow gave you an odd look.

"Yes Ozzie?" You asked sweetly.. "Um, I.. Can explain..." "It's not my fault! I tried to tell him that I needed to go back! He refused and dragged me with him since he's my 'On Person Guard.' So don't get mad at me Ozzie." You heard him sigh before he muttered an 'okay' and hung up before calling Qrow.

You could hear Ozpin yelling into the phone about 'how Qrow needed to be more responsible adult'.. like that was going to happen. Suddenly you had a great idea.

"Qrow, give me your phone." reluctantly he handed it to you. "Ozzie, if you keep complaining about how Qrows not responsible enough to protect me, why don't you just make him into a professor at the academy?" You speak watching Qrows face contort into a mad question.

"It would make him have to stop drinking for a while, being a teacher and all. Plus it would make him responsible as well." You have to stifle a giggle while watching Qrow's face. Ozpin liked the idea and ordered both of you to his office as soon as you could both be there.

"I knew I didn't like you." Qrow grumbled.

"The feeling is mutual ass-hat." You smirked at the man who towered above you.

You couldn't lie, Qrow was attractive. Really, really fucking attractive, however you couldn't get attached to him nor could you fall for him. Ruby was one of your good friends and Yang was who you went to when you need to rant about something. Both meant something to you, and you couldn't do something like that. They would hate you.However you couldn't stop the thoughts of him from entering your mind. You wondered what his hair would feel like if you ran your hands through it, or what it would be to wake up next to him. A blush creeped up onto your pale face. Yeah, thats embarrassing. You turned from the man, he couldn't see your face or he would make fun of you.

You two walked away from the bar after he got what he needed, and of course you waited outside. He kept mumbling about how much of an ass you were, you couldn't help but laugh.

"Stop gripping. You know you love me."

He continues to mumble about you and then on about his nieces. You finally made it to school around 11. you had already missed 3 hours of school because of him, not that you really mind. School wore you out on certain occasions, including the times that you had to fight classmates. They didn't know when to give up, even Quinn tried to fight you. You knew your teammates weaknesses so that wasn't hard to win. You had fought Pyrrah, but that ended with a tie. You were well known for your skills, but a lot of people were afraid of you and for good reason. Plus, that helped you keep your secret even better.

You walked through the doors onto the elevator with Qrow to go to Ozpin's office. Oz stood there with a stern face, however when his eyes shifted to you the went softer, you weren't the one in trouble. You gave him a soft smile before turning to Qrow. You didn't have to explain yourself, but Qrow did. You just had to sit there and make sure he was telling the truth, and he did. He skipped the part about meeting the two White Fang associates though.

"We also happened to meet two people who looked as if they were students, Mercury and Emerald I think." You spoke up, "Qrow ended up carrying me off, away from the conversation at that point. He mentioned that they were or are involved with the White Fang?"

"That's nothing you need to worry about Y/n. We can take care of that." Ozpin trailed off before starting up again. "However if you do meet them again outside of the campus, be sure to avoid them at all costs. Those two could be bad news.."

You nodded obeying his wishes. This isn't the first time Ozpins told you to avoid certain people or sketchy characters. You swiftly got up and brushed the imaginary dust from your skirt.

"Well, I'm going to head back to my dorm since.. I've already missed more than 3/4 the day of school. There's really no point in going back to class right now..."

Qrow gets up to follow you, and you stop abruptly. 

"Do not tell me he has to sleep in the same room as me?"

Ozpin and Qrow both give you a strange look..

"Well.. I-.. I.. That would be highly inappropriate.. However you would be more protected.."

"NO! I can not share a room with him! You can not be serious! Ozzie stop." You said out of shock.

Was Ozpin actually serious? He couldn't pair you two in a room together, that would just create rumors and draw even more unwanted attention to you.  

"Yes.. That actually could be a viable option.. Yes, you two will live together!" 

"WHAT!" Qrow and you both yell and immanently start arguing with Ozpin.

"Oz you can not be serious about this? You said it yourself, it's highly inappropriate! Plus, that would just draw more attention to us!"

After a few more minutes of arguing over a final change  you both walk out of his office. After walking for a few minutes Qrow spoke up.

"You know.. if you would have just kept your damned mouth shut none of this would've happened kid."

"Soooo sorry I had to ask a question. If you weren't such an narcissistic  asshole maybe you'd like me more." You shot back at him.. "Did he even say were we would be living for right now?"

"Yeah," Qrow sighed, "You'll be living with me for right now."

"And where is that exactly?"

"Just be patient and find out, there is no need for you to be so pushy."

"You're an ass." You make a face towards him.

"Right back at you wolfie." He smirked down at you.
