The bell goes and everyone is relieved that English class over. Not the I don't like English, it's just that my teacher, Mrs Lovely, is the exact opposite of her name. I mean, for a mean old witch, Mrs Lovely is not very fitting.

It's break time, I'm supposed to show Dylan around. I know some schools have it different, but at our school, we have the same kids from form room in every class. That mean Dylan is in ALL of my classes.

I look around for him but all I can see is a group of giggling girls surrounding something.

Maybe they're looking at Dylan? I walk over to them and peer over the shortest one. In the middle of the clan of girls, is Dylan. He's laying down pick-up lines on them and they look like they're about to faint.

"Want me to show you around Dylan?" asks a girl, I know by the name of Ariana.

"Um, sur_" he starts to say, then he notices me hovering behind the group.
"Actually, this girl over here is going to show me around...uh, teachers orders," he replies, flashing a million dollar smile in her direction. She nods her head but after Dylan turns around, she gives me the death eyes.

Well, we're in the back of the school so I may as well just walk along and point.
For a while we stay quiet, passing a doorless corridor, instead decorated with class photos from previous years.

Our English class is literally abandoned, recluse at the very end of the corridor.

"Your name's Skye, right?" he says, after what seems to be forever.

"Yeah."

"Cool name," he says, trying to get a conversation happening. "It suits you."

"I guess; Dylan is a pretty fitting name for you too," I reply, not thinking.

"Oh?" he asks, "And why's that?" I wanted to say because every sexy, popular boy should be named Dylan, but I guess that's kind of rude.

"I don't know," I say, shrugging my shoulders, "I  just do."

Dylan stops in front of the first door. "What's this place?" he asks, obviously ignoring the brass plate that clearly states it's a janitor's closet.

But you know, being the person I am, I don't call it a janitors closet. "It's so obvious Dylan," I say.

"Please, don't tell me, it's a jani_" he starts.

"No! It's a portal to another dimension silly, didn't you know that all janitors closets are portals?" I reply with a smirk.

"Okay then..." he replies, an amused grin spreading across his perfect face.

God damn, he looks so freaking handsome...

"What was that Skye?" he asks. I said that out loud, didn't I? Urghhhh!

"Nothing," I squeak and point out to him the bathroom.

"Are you sure because it sounds like you called me handsome?" he says, another cocky grin twitching at his lips. Those lips... Ok gross, I'm not even fourteen yet...this is just messed up. Well, it might seem normal in this corrupt generation...

I finish the tour without another proper conversation and then head to the tuck shop to buy anything to fill my empty stomach.

"Wait, Bluebird!" he cries. Bluebird? That's new, but I guess I kinda like it...

"Oh sorry, can I call you that?" he says, looking sheepish.

"Sure, whatever," I say with a smile.

"I guess it just suits you, I mean the sky is blue and full of birds..." he says. I chuckle and nod.

"I guess so," I reply, "What is it that you wanted?"

"Well, I just wanted to thank you for the tour, and tell you that one of the teachers already showed me around this morning..."  he says. It takes me a minute to register what he said, but when I figure it out, he already disappeared.

That means he willingly spent his break with me, skipping the deliciousness of food to talk to plain old me? Does he like me? No, he was flirting with those group of girls before, he's probably just doing the same thing to me. Yeah, that seems more accurate. But for some odd reason, I really hope that's not the case.

I run in the direction I think he went and find him lounging carelessly in a cafeteria seat, surrounded by food. These people worship him...

I walk over to the tuck shop to buy something. I feel around my checkered black and grey skirt pocket, and pull out a two dollar coin, then hand it to the nice young lady at the window.

She asks for my order and I buy a raspberry slushy. It's cold against my palm and my arm is shaking. She offers me a tissue paper and I gladly accept, thanking her as well.

I sit down next to Dylan. I wonder where this new found confidence came from.

"Hey Bluebird," he says, picking up a velvet cupcake and slowly peeling off the case.

"Hey," I reply.

"Is there something you want to talk to me about?" he questions, after finishing a quick bite of the cupcake.

"Yes actually,"I reply. I suddenly regret this decision. I mean, I have to know if he likes me, and although I have discovered a shred of confidence, it isn't enough for me to simply go up to him and ask him if he likes me. I mean, I just met him today!

"And that is?" he says, putting down the cupcake.

"I just, I just...wanted to know more about you," I say. Wow, my lying skills are getting better and better aren't they? (Sarcasm intended.)

"Really?" he asks, genuinely surprised. "Ok..."

"Yeah."

"How about that stays a mystery, eh?" he says, winking. He grabs the cupcake and walks out of the cafeteria without another word.

What just happened? How about that stays a mystery, eh? Oh, Dylan, why do you have to be so confusing?

This boy is a complete mystery to me. Why did he move to here? Why did he fall into my life? Why, why, why?!

I guess I can't complain though. But if he gets to call me Bluebird, I'm going to call him Mystery Boy...

Hello! Hope you like this second chapter. I'm going to try and update ASAP for the next few weeks because school homework is going to start flooding in soon. I mean, it's almost the middle of the year! Time flies by so fast...

What do you think of Dylan? I mean, I have no way in love and this is just from what I've read from other stories. I'm currently reading  The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, which is an actual published book btw, not on Wattpad. (Spoiler Alert!)I love it so far and I guess I'm just basing Dylan on the fact that Augustus quickly falls for Hazel.

I'm suggesting you read The Fault In Our Stars and watch the movie, but watch the movie after, which I sadly did not do, but I guess the movie's pretty awesome too!

Love,
