"-She's waking up." Says the brown headed doctor with the blue eyes.
Four doctors gather around me, doing what they can to help me wake up.
I flutter my eyes open, and see my family gone.
       "Mom! Dad!" I utter shakily.
My pushing forty parents ran around the corner into my room, pulling me into a hug. It's an emotional triangle when the doctor comes in.
        "We have good news."
-"your daughter can be released in two days, but she has to take medication for the pain."
My Dad nods and goes to fill out the forms for me to come home in two days.
"I missed you mom." I hug her. I realized this is probably the only time I've hugged her since their divorce.
        "I'm glad you're okay, I don't know what I would've done without you."
       -How'd you do it?"
"I had a couple dreams. Elena was in one, she told me she was okay and so was Stephan. Then I could hear a nurse Maggie telling me her story and how she made it."
The blonde nurse comes in again.
"A nurse helped my daughter wake up, and so did her friend, Elena".
"What was her name?" Izzy, I read her tame tag.
"Maggie. She didn't give me her last name."
"Can you describe her for me please? I may know her if you give me a description of what she looks like".
"Yes. She was African American, she has really beautiful curls, brown eyes and she wore this-"
"A necklace shaped like a lion. I gave it to after she beat cancer the first time. Her first name was Ariel, it meant lioness of God. She never told anyone except me. She reminded me of a lion, strong. That's why I gave it to her".
"Can I talk to her? I need to thank her".
"You can't I'm afraid...She passed away last fall. It truly is a miracle. she helped you, along with your friend."
I nod my head and all I want to do is stand up. I've been asleep for three days, my whole body hurts like hell. I need a painkiller.
       "How is Justin?" I ask.
"He's still here. He's being released today."
       "Can I see him?"
"I will get him." Mom says patting my knee. Izzy walks off.
"Hey Beanpole." Justin says walking over to me.
       "Hi, how are you doing?"
"I'm okay. The doctor said I'm going to have this killer scar on my arm. I needed a couple stitches."
I sit silently on my bed. My bottom lip starts to stick out and I know I'm about to cry. Justin leans in and wraps his arms around me.
"I know. They're okay. They're in good hands now". He said as if he'd read my mind. Justin's changes into his clothes his dad had brought him.
"I talked to my dad about what I want to do for college."
        "What'd he say?"
"He said he supported me all the way."
        "That's good, that's really good."
I look at Justin, he smiles allowing that same freaking dimple to appear. Why do you have to be so cute?
"I love you Allie Caitlyn Reynolds."
"I love you too, Justin Chase Williams".
