I'm having lunch with the CHOSEN ONE! (Cue echo effect) I've chosen a test subject who's relatively new to General Science Laboratories. I've assigned him the number, Test Subject #342.
I chose him out off all the War Heroes, Olympians, Cheap Book Store Owners, etc. because he just seems like an average college student, other than the fact that he has cancer. After being told he only had seven months left, he began to take interest in our experiment, after seeing one of our posters.
As for the other 19 people, they've been assigned to test the Radium-Powered Toothbrush. Once this succeeds, we'll have more cancer to cure!
"I look forward to testing with you," I say, trying not to frighten him, as he's obviously nervous.
He backs off a few inches and nervously says, "M-me to, sir."
I write a checkmark next to the General Science DNA Restorer test chamber on his passport card.
"Remember to meet me in test chamber Alpha - 01 tommorow," I say.
Truly, I do look forward to testing with him. The people who invented Chemotherapy will never know what hit them! Finally, things are starting to go according to plan.
