"You and-"

"Yes."

"But I thought you liked-"

"I do, but it's not mutual."

"But that doesn't mean you have to-"

"Hermione, I know. I know I don't have to be with Blaise, but I want to. If it helps me get over...him, then it'll be good."

"But you don't actually like him that way?"

"I think I could, eventually. For now, just having someone is enough."

"I know the feeling...can you pass me that book? The one your elbow is on."

"Hm? Oh yeah, here you go Mione."

"Thank you Regina."

"Mhm."

The two girls were in the back of the library, and had been studying together, when Blaise had come to let Regina know that he was going to quidditch practice. Hermione had wondered why he felt that he needed to tell her, but when he ended his short visit with a kiss on Regina's cheek, that told her everything.

"You realize that if Zabini ever found out that you're still pining after Harry, he'd be upset. You can't lead him on like that Regina, it's not right," Hermione said after a moment of silence.

"I'm not leading him on. I really do think he could help me get over Harry. I'm tired of waiting around for someone who's never going to come get me. And there's no use in me asking him about it because he's so oblivious. I could probably literally ask Harry out and he still wouldn't get it. But Blaise feels the same way about me as I do about Harry. Maybe he can help," Regina replied, hiding behind her book. When she peeked over the top, she saw Hermione staring at her with one eyebrow raised.

Regina hid her face again and Hermione sighed, looking down at her piece of parchment that she'd been writing on.

"Can you look at question four on this? Nothing I put seems to make any sense."

"What's this? The great Hermione Granger doesn't know the answer to a question?" Regina gasped, putting her book down and dramatically laying a hand on her chest.

Hermione glared and threw a crumpled piece of parchment at her head.

Regina laughed and looked at Hermione's homework.

"Wow, you really are abysmal at potions, aren't you?" She laughed.

"Excuse you? I'll have you know, I get perfect marks on my potions essays." Hermione defended.

"On the essays, yes, but your practical work isn't so good."

"Wha-How do you know that? We aren't even in the same class!" Hermione asked.

Regina just grinned at her, "I know everything."

Hermione looked unimpressed, so Regina sighed and shrugged.

"Okay, Draco told me. At least you're not as bad as Harry."

"Regina, I don't think anyone's as bad at potions as Harry. Except maybe Neville, but that's mainly because he can be very klutzy," Hermione reasoned.

"Truer words were never spoken."

"Regina?" Hermione started.
