Escaping The Maze

Note: don't know the real sequence so I made one up and other people are in it but not important. 

(Angela's POV )

" Gallybear please come with us so we can leave the maze" I said to my boyfriend Gally while Chuck and his sister Grace was hiding behind my legs . All he said was " Good Luck against the grievers".  I walked over to him and kissed his lips then headed into the maze with everyone else. We ran section through section till we got to section 7. Just as we are about to turn the corner Thomas jolts back and pins himself to the wall. He then says " Angela, Teresa take care of Chuck and Grace for us and get that door open while the rest of us fight it okay". We nodded and then the guys ran around the corner and started fighting the griver that was at the entrance. We where almost there when Chuck drops the key and it rolls over to the side of the platform. He dives for it and gets it but almost gets over the edge but me and Teresa got him before he went over thank god.  

Grace was so scared she was still  behind the wall everyone else was in before. I quickly ran over picked her up then got over to Chuck and Teresa. I quickly gave her to Chuck then tried to open the door.  Teresa said "  there is a code to leave.  8 numbers".  I scream " Minho what's the code". He screamed " what". I screamed back " the section for the maze". He Screamed " 1, 8, 6, 2, 7, 3, 5, 4" while fighting and griver and Clint getting killed. It opened and we all feel inside and down into a long hallway. We all walked down when the lights turned on. We came to a door and on top it said " Exit" and Frypan said " Really". We went through and then we saw dead people all over the floor and everything was sparking and I did not like that at all while I was shielding Graces eyes since her being only 10.

Thomas eventually hit a button and a lady appeared on a screen and said " My name is Dr. Ava Paige. I am director of operations of the world in catastrophe killzone department. If you are watching this, this means you have successfully completed the maze trials. I wish I could be there in person to congratulate you but circumstances have seem to prevented it. I'm sure by now you all be very confused, angry, frightened. I can only assure you that everything that has happened to you, everything we've done to you was all done for a reason. You won't remember but the sun has scorched our world. Billions of lives lost to fire. Gammon ,Suffering,  on a global scale. The fall out was unimaginable. What came after was worse. We call it the flare. A deadly virus that attacks the brain. It is violent, unpredictable, incurable or so we thought. IN time a new generation has emerged that could survive the virus suddenly their was a reason to hope for a cure but finding it would not be easy. The young would have to be tested even sacrificed inside harsh environments where their brain activity could be studied. All in effort to understand what makes them different, what makes you different. You may not realize it but you are very important. Unfortunately the trials have just begun as no doubt discover. Not everyone agrees with our methods." before she held a gun up to her head and shot herself while i looked away and hid my face in newts chest and grace was hiding hers in chucks because  they could see how badly scared we were.  

Newt said " what are we supposed to do now" while I was still holding on to him. Thomas says " I don't know. Let's get out of here". We were about to leave when all you heard was " No" we turned around and saw Gally and I instantly let go of Newt. Thomas said " Gally" and go up to him when I said " No he's been stung". He dropped the key he had in his hand and sniffled back the tears he had in his eyes then said " We can't leave" while in his other shaking hand was a gun. Thomas said " We did. Gally were out. were free". Gally said " Free? You think were free out there? No. There's no escape from this place." while holding up the gun in his hands. Fear flashed in my eyes and Gally still held up the gun. Thomas said " Gally listen to me. your not thinking strait. your not. we can help you". As he said this I saw Minho grip his spear even more like he was going to aim it at Gally. I then said " Gallybear just put down the gun". 

He then said " I belong to the maze". The I said frightened even more again " Gallybear just put down the gun". He then said " We all do" while pulling the trigger that was pointed to Thomas. As soon as he did Minho threw his spear at Gally hitting him in the heart and Chuck stepped in front of Thomas screaming " NO".  As soon as Gally to the ground I ran over to him screaming his name " GALLY GALLY PLEASE SAY SOMETHING PLEASE WAKE UP PLEASE" while in tears. Newt came over and said " Come on Chuck wants to say something to you". I got up and walked over to him and noticed he was hit by the bullet. I started crying again and he said " Angela take care of Grace for me". Grace was in tears and trebling next to me. He said " I love you Gracie and listen to Angela okay". She nodded and said " okay". Chuck smiled and said " good and I really love you guys" before taking his last breath and dying in Thomas's arms. I was already standing up and grace burst into tears even more. I picked her up and hugged her and everyone else hugged each other because we lost 4 for everyone else and 5 for me and Grace really close people. Me and Grace lost Gally, Chuck, Alby, Zart and Clint while everyone else lost just Chuck, Alby, Zart and Clint.

Soon a door opened and I didn't want to leave Gally. Soon Newt had to take Grace from me so the people could get me out of the building and into the helicopter. I got thrown in and in a matter of 6 seconds of sitting down Grace was in my lap crying again. I hugged her close and sang to her her favorite song that chuck sang too. I sang "Little do you know, How I'm breaking while you fall asleep, Little do you know, I'm still haunted by the memory, Little do you know, I'm trying to pick myself from piece by piece, Little do you know, I need a little more time, Underneath it all I'm held captive by the hole inside, I've been holding back, For the fear that you might change your mind, I'm ready to forgive you but forgetting is a harder fight, Little do you know, I need a little more time, Away, away, I love you like you've never felt the pain, away, I promise you don't have to be afraid, away, The love you see right here stays so lay your head on me, Little do you know, I know you're hurt while I'm sound asleep, Little do you know, All my mistakes are solely drowning me, Little do you know, I'm trying to make it better piece by piece, Little do you know, I, I love you till the sun dies". Grace was now asleep in my lap cuddled up to me and everyone else was calm now as we got taken to apparently part 2 of these trials and tried not to think about who we have lost and the danger ahead.
