New friends

I got home and walked in to smell something delicious... bacon yum! I skipped into the kitchen too see 4 plates of bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans with my family sat eating. My mouth watered as I sat down and dug straight in. After I had devoured it all I thanked my parents and went upstairs to shower and change.

After I showered, I changed into a pair of leggings and a little white crop top that had a black dream catcher on it.
I put on some concealer and mascara then just French braided my hair.

Checking my phone, to see a text from Jenny asking if I wanted to hang around with her and another girl. I replied 'sure what time' and walked downstairs to quickly tell my mum I was going out. She just nodded and told me to be safe.

I ran back upstairs just in time to hear the familiar 'bing'. Jenny put 'meet us at Starbucks at 11:30' I responded ok and checked the time 11:00. Phew I have enough time to make it. I grabbed my skateboard and slipped on my white converse quickly tying them. I threw a quick bye over my shoulder hoping someone in the house heard me and headed off.

*11:30*
Looking around I spotted Jenny with a girl that had long black hair and gorgeous grey eyes. I approached them and sat down. Jenny smiled at me
And said 'Natasha! This is jade, jade this is Natasha' I smiled at her and waved. She did the same and we all broke into conversation.

After a while, we left Starbucks and they started walking towards the woods. I asked where we were going and they just said that it was there "secret place" nobody knew about.

We walked a good few miles till we reached a cliff edge. They told me to walk closer and I did. It was amazing. Below there was a huge forest that went on forever with a clear, glistening river running through it. We sat there for a few hours just laughing and enjoying the view.

I got to know Jade and Jenny more. Let's just say I now know everything about them and we are all best friends. I didn't realise we had been sat here so long as the sun was now setting on the other side and it made the view even more beautiful. I love sunsets. It's just the way the orange and pink entwine like people holding hands that never want to let go. The darkness just slowly consumes the light leaving us in complete pitch black.

'We should probably head back' I told them. They agreed and we headed home.

*home 10:30*
'I'm homeeee' I shout up the stairs in hope of someone hearing. I enter the kitchen and find a plate of meat and potato pie with fries plated up for me. Licking my lips, I heat it up in the oven and sit down to eat. After licking my plate clean I gallop upstairs and get ready for bed.

I brush my teeth and wipe off my makeup. Leaving my hair in the plait, I change into some bed leggings and a sports bra. I scroll through my social media and watch a few YouTube videos before switching off my light and going to bed.
